I've watched plenty of Bute performances, I have even commented about them in this thread with specific examples. Why so testy?

How do you reckon Haussler has more than 1% chance of beating Kessler? Haussler is a c- lvl fighter - Kessler is elite. Haussler has already been soundly beaten by Mads Larsen and Rudy Markussen, and they are not in the same league as Kessler.

It's not about talking down anyone. It's about calling fights. I have a great liking for Bute, and have always had, and I wish him the best.

Explain to me how Bute matches up with Kessler on styles and intangibles please.:D

I think that after reviewing everything, you'll see that he will not have much of a shot at boxing with Kessler, nor would he at trying to draw Kessler into a war, or press him.

Yes, Andrade kept Kessler working in every round, that's what Armele meant.

Team Palle wont make the fight, so having the fight in Germany must atleast be worth 1%...?

In weightclasses from SM and up there should always be the chance of a luckypunch?

    Then you have injuries...!

Im not giving him 5% chance, but atleast 1% why not.

    Ahh ok.

Well fair enough then, I think that the Calzaghe fight would have been more physically taxing.

Workrate is only a part of how tiring a fight is, if you are throwing, missing and getting hit it is much more tiring than winning every round and landing at what I can only assume was a ridiculous connect %.

I'm always amazed when I hear Bute's defense is not good. The point is not to be hit, right? Well, in the last 6 rounds, Sakio Bika was not able to hit Bute at all. Same for Berrio, let's Joppy out of this. Bute's defense is based on distance, reflexes and movement, not on his guard. His guard is low because the guard is less important for a southpaw. Lucian is always moving, forward, backward, side, his feet are moving, his head is moving a lot. Not moving necessary fast, just fast enough to get out of trouble and to be ready to counter. The only chance for Andrade is to ko Bute in the first three rounds. After that, he won't touch him. Kessler was hurt by Calzaghe and even by Sartison, so how do you evaluate his defense?

They could be fighting in front of 200,000 screaming germans or on the moon, it doesn't change that Haussler hasn't got anything in his arsenal to win. Weird things can happen in sports, so thats why it's 1% instead of 0%, and in that 1% injuries and luckypunches are included, but you can't give more than 1% for that.

    1. Kessler gets hit significantly less than Bute, therefore has a better defence. Oliver McCall has not been hurt but does that mean he has a better defence than Lennox Lewis who was KO'd twice?

    2. Kessler was not hurt against Sartison he was stunned for a second.

    3. Bute gets hit far to easily, he keeps his hands low and does not have good enough reflex's to get away with it.

    4. Here is the last two rounds of the Bika fight.

Bute gets hit by left hooks and jabs pretty regularly.

Not sold on Bute at all the way he fights scared and all. Kessler takes this but he needs to fight way better than he did against Sartison. Got hit way too much in that fight, particularly by straight rights. Pavlik would tap that ass with that defence.

You can reduce Häußler's chance to 0.5% because a lucky punch is completely impossible as Häußler couldn't knock out my grandma with his best shots.

You mean he got tagged more than he usually does, then yes.

Attacking Kesslers defence against Sartison, and then naming Pavlik? Whose defence is the better? Sloppy Pavlik, or cautious Kessler?

:lol: - okay. 0.5% it is for the sake of freakish accidents or injury.

All I'm saying is that Kessler was there to be hit by straight rights, something Pavlik is great at. Pavlik also hits harder than Sartison, right? Pavlik would have tapped that ass with that version of Kessler. Hope your buy improves, feller! He is miles behind what he used to be before Calzaghe took him to school.
