Cardiff is something of a hotspot for drinkers now.

I think you'd get a bigger gate due to Joe's popularity amongst the Welsh - London would be fine for me but if it starts raining, it'll be **** - the Millennium Stadiums retractable roof is a big factor here. I remember Lewis-Bruno at Cardiff Arms Park was a nightmare because of the rain - boxers slipping all over the place. Logistically, it would be easier for Danish fans - but all 3 of them can easily hire a car and drive to Wales anyway.

Cuchulain was a mythical warrior from ancient Ireland (sort of like our Achilles) See links.

Re: Rollo: It looks like he needs to learn to read AND understand what he's reading before his education can be initiated.

He appears not to know that football, to the overwhelming majority of the world's population, is soccer. It is played with the foot or feet (unlike American football) and played with a ball (a spherically shaped object, from the definition of BALL) unlike the prolate spheroid used in American 'football'.

If he can grasp the misnomer of American 'football', we might move on to dealing with its differences from Rugby. Namely that, while American 'football' resembles Rugby in its objective and play, its players wear helmets and loads of other protective gear to minimize the roughness of the contact.

Rugby, on the other hand, is more of a man's game where the only gear is a shirt, shorts, a jock and cleats. The contact is considerably more brutal and requires a higher calibre of participant in the 'toughness' department.

Can you imagine if someone invented a form of boxing with metal helmets, faceguards , shoulder pads etc.

Conventional boxers might regard it as a game for poofs, but hey, each to his own.

I wouldn't say there's no hope for Rollo. But there's some concepts he's not yet ready to grasp.

Let's just hope it happens, for the sake of the sport. This would be a true European superfight.

Good for Rollo (being a real person and all that, and being a direct ancestor of the present Queen of England) and good that you have heard of soccer.

I was doubtful, since you claimed never to have heard of Rugby.

Why would HBO care if they're showing 2 great fights back to back?

I don't give a damn what anyone says, Kessler is a hell of a fighter. The man has speed, power, can box, and is pretty good defensively. Calzaghe is a hell of a a fighter too, but I see Kessler busting Calzaghe up in this fight. Oh yeah, Librado Andrade, Markus Beyer, Eric Lucas, Anthony Mundine, those are Kessler's last four victims. That's not bad considering SMW is not an exactly stacked division.

    ****, sign the contracts already!

Calzaghe and Kessler (or Palle and Warren), Mayweather, and Hatton should sign the damn contracts and stop ****-teasing the fans. I'm getting worried, impatient, and pissed.

Why not back to back? If anything, put Calzaghe/Kessler on PPV the 22nd and Taylor/Pavlik on regular HBO the 29th. Show the Calzaghe/Kessler replay before the Taylor/Pavlik bout.
Whatever, it doesn't matter, just get the fights signed and set for ****'s sake!
