In what way is he superior to Adamek? Dawson dec Johnson, which I might add, is a better win than any of the wins on Kessler's resume even though its not Dawsons best win. Kessler is unproven, or should I say proven to fail when he faces elite comp. He is good, but nothing special.

I can see where some would think he did, but I thought Dawson did just enough in the early and midrounds to pull out the dec. It was a close fight for sure though.

Dawson would probably win but I doubt it'd be as easy as some think. Kessler is a helluva fighter. If he was a better counterpuncher I'd give him a shot but that's not really his game.

 

Not really true. Kessler has been a counterpuncher since his amateur days. I guess the fact that Kessler is being so dominant with his jab and 1-2 combinations gives the impression that he is the natural agressor in his fights. Kessler excells with his accurracy and timing when his opponent throw punches.
