    blah blah blah

and what league was Joe in as an 8 year WBO champion?

let's face it, you don't know what league Froch can or will be in.

Kessler's passport has seen a damn sight more action than Froch's. He has stamps for Australia, Germany and America.

Furthest Carl has managed is Ireland for his training camp.

I think that Froch's defense and boxing is a lot better than people expect it to be. He out boxed Pascal and took his punches without flinching. I think he is a very live underdog and if Kessler's isn't right, he could lose. Froch is the biggest puncher Kessler would have fought, and probably the strongest as well.

What?! Of course I can see what league he's in, he's decent, but thats all. He's also an annoying c*nt.

Also Im not even a Calzaghe fan boy, Im just not blind.

Froch is actually older than Kessler (or Lucian Bute or Taylor for that matter). At 31y/o I dont think he has much time to improve before taking these fights.
I've heard it spoke about for the summer, after Froch fights his mandatory against Taylor, but if Froch has to beat Taylor to make this fight then I don't think it'll happen.

Froch will be too strong for Taylor, should Taylor take the fight. I've got a funny feeling we might see Calzaghe-Taylor for the Welshman's last fight.

While I would make Kessler favourite, he doesn't seem to have a plan b (my basis is essentially the Calzaghe fight, so this might be unfair). I think Froch has the ability to adapt a little, and I think he's the puncher in there. He might even have the better jab - much like Lennox, when he uses it properly, the jab is a great weapon, but it is inconsisent.

very good fight and just maybe the best there is at 168 right now.

by the way, when I say Kessler didn't have a plan b, it hasn't struck me that he needed one against Beyer and Mundine (the other ones I've seen).

I think Froch is too open and Taylor or Kessler would land too easily on him. I don't think Taylor will knock him out but I think he'd get a wide UD.
Taylor-Kessler would be the best match up in the division imo.

HBO doesn't want Froch/Taylor. May not happen. They are pushing for Taylor/Wright but also might approve Taylor/Kessler. Kessler uses Froch for a puncing bag and KO's him easy.

Have to say I think the highlighted comment is a little silly IMO. Aside from froch been very messy at times, I believe Kessler has the best jab of any active boxer, I'ts completely pollished, carries KO power and he throws it with pin point accuraccy and speed. It's no doubt his best atribute.

I agree Kessler's carries greater consistency and is a superb weaopn. But Froch throws his from angles and it does carry great power. However, I would agree that it is nowhere near as consistent as it should be, and can be slow.

If you think Kessler's jab is superior, it's not something that I'm going to massively argue with. I think that both jabs are very, very good.
