Well I picked him to win too Just rewatched the 12 round again - Still can't see what more Kessler could have done - even the english commentator remarked on Kessler giving it his all - I just can't see how you can give it any more than your all - Kessler did in that round 12 - he showed heart. He missed a few other things in the fight - meanly a plan B and a prober corner. But that's a different story...
No chance. Kessler has fought at a higher weight and hasn't looked in trouble once. Miranda, on the other hand, has been knocked out by Pavlik, dropped by an ill and weight drained Green, wobbled multiple times by a half dead Abraham and put in serious trouble by an old Eastman. If I were to put money on it, I'd back Miranda's chin to crack far sooner than Kesslers, especially considering he'll be eating laser-straight jabs and rights all night, while Kessler moves out of range or at worst takes Miranda's haymakers on his gloves.
Kessler went all out in the 12th round. At least for him. He does not have the power to hurt JC. He couldnt even put Andrade down after 12 rounds of pounding his head. He did everything he could to beat Calzaghe, he just doesnt have what it takes to do it.
Wrong wrong wrongety wrong wrrrong. I will waste no coherent argument on you since you obviously is plain straight out lying. You haven't seen the fight it is glaringly obvious.
It isn't about doing enough to win the fight it is doing the right thing to win the fight. With the gameplan that Kessler had he could do nothing else than what he did and he certainly did what he could in the 12th. I think that he would have gassed out if he had started that kind of all out offence even a round earlier. Edit: He obviously lost the fight fair and square. He had the wrong gameplan (or no gameplan you choose).
