The fighters' managers are talking about it seriously given Froch beats Jean Pascal and wins the WBC

It sure was. Even though Haüssler looked worse than sartison, kessler seemed sharp as ever. Let´s get HBO working.....:yep

kessler did what he had to do.
his jab was heavy and dominant and he looked sharp and never let haussler get a sniff.

haussler`s face was pretty battered after 3 rounds and i think he stayed down when he could have got up.

the finish itself was something like a
left jab miss/right hand bomb miss /haussler then lreaning to his right threw a left hand off balance his weight going forward which landed but at the same time kessler in the middle of a combo came up and underneath and landed on the point of hausslers chin with the punch fully extended and haussler no legs under him fell back very hard flat onto his back, attemptred to rise straight away, could not and was counted out.

between round 2 you couod see the ref was already worried about haussler when he spent about 40 secs looking at him in the corner during the round.

Tell that to HBO and Showtime.

Kessler has said many times that his passport seems to be a problem and when they have offered a fight to other interesting opponents they want 9 mill us$ and up - which Kessler conclude is the same as saying "I don't want to meet you".

Kessler's team actually protested the choice of Haussler and his promoter put in a ridiculously low purse offer because they did not want to stage the fight in Denmark as they felt it was a complete mismatch.

Kessler should NOT be on the receiving end of a "he needs to stop fighting bums" bla bla.. I cannot think of any other top fighter who has travelled to Australia, Germany, Wales in recent title fights. Kessler has shown that he wants the best and is willing to travel. Now the other guys just need to sign on the dotted line.

    thats bull****.

mogens palle rejected a miranda fight in favour of a paper belt. and kessler is unlikely to be taken seriously again until he leaves his mandatories against euro bums and takes chances in america. he may have to leave mogens palle to do that.

if you dont know how the business side of boxing works then please dont post this rubbish

Hopkins wanted US$ 9 mill to fight Kessler. He took Calzaghe for less. I think Hopkins thought Calzaghe was the easier target even if Calzaghe got the win over Kessler in Wales.

Calzaghe is used to getting underrated.

Anyway - yes, Kessler-Hopkins would be good. LEt's hope they can make it.

kessler isn't going to get the reputation necessary to fight hopkins unless he takes chances.

sartisan and haussler aren't going to do that.

    Arh.. bull****.

What really happened has been repeated so many times by now. Badintentions this is for you: Miranda and Kessler talked about a fight. Miranda got Showtime interested. Miranda was ranked #8 by WBA.

Kessle people said "hang on, we will work with this". Miranda started screaming in the press to make Kessler sign asap. Meanwhile Kesslers people lobbied with WBA to make Miranda #2 challenger so that their fight could be for the vacant belt. At the same time, they talked to HBO and HBO agreed to broadcast the fight. Team Kessler now offered Miranda the fight at much higher stakes and a much more attractive deal. It would be on HBO for more money for both and it would be for the vacant WBA belt. Team Mirandas response was "we couldn't wait, so we have signed with Abraham".

That is what happened. I know it isn;t as black and white as you would probably like, but reality sometimes is a little complicated.
