As soon as the season starts, I will watch some baseball. I'll be watching my Phillies who are real champs, not paper champs like Kessler.

that could be a very good way to go. I know Kess fans want him to be the main event, but Bika has gotten popular winning the Contender and then he beat the **** out of Manfredo. So Kessler fighting a tough, yet easily winnable fight for him on the undercard of that fight would be a good step and get fans calling for him to get the bigger fights over here.

Believe me or not, US fans don't care where you're from, just that you come over and show us up close and personal like what you've got.

Broken record time (and I can hear the AA fans first), but man, if he'd have taken down Miranda in style on Showtime, he'd already be in the mix for the round robin of top fighters HBO/Showtime drool for. As far as AA and Kessler, Kessler is more known by far than AA already, and AA's brother made an ass out of his self, not helping fans to warm up to his deserving brother AA.

my humble opinion, of course. That's all.

If he can't get a big name super middle (Taylor, Froch, Bute) I would love to see him fight Glen Johnson.

If he could do a good job on Johnson, more convincing than Dawson managed, I think that would get a lot of peoples respect.

Also I don't think that would be as tricky to negotiate knowing Johnson.

Oooh, good point my man. IMO, Bika could be good too because he's kinda hot right now over here having won the Contender and beaten Manfredo's ass. Easy fight for Kess, and grab some of that attention over here he deserves.

Bika would not be an easy fight for Kessler. Kessler would win, but Bika is a rough guy. Bika is not above resorting to dirty tactics and he would make it a rough night for Kessler.

Bika is okay. I like Bika as a fighter, I think he's a good solid contender and a dirty little ****...but I think Mikkel should be aiming a little higher. He did lose to the best fighters he fought, fairly clearly.

Preferable to Larsen...but definitely in the second tier of my hitlist if I was his matchmaker.

I think fighting Johnson at 175 would be a foolish move by Kessler. Johnson is a guy you shouldn't be fighting unless you have to. Going up in wieght to fight him makes very little sense. No one looks all that good against Johnson(except Hopkins).

I think Mikkel could do a more convincing job than Dawson did, that is why I see it as a good option. I don't see Mikkel losing the plot like that. He'll fight a steady fight, using his jab, Dawson was making him look a fool when he was doing that early on.

Sure it would be rough and tough at periods, but it would get him a lot of credit. Credit makes sense.

I remember that fight well. Calzaghe came out showboating and then got his face cut up from a headbutt. He stopped showboating after that. Kessler is a finesse fighter. I'm not sure how he would handle himself against a rough fighter.

Pavlik thought it made sense to go up in weight to fight Hopkins. He felt that if he beat him more convincingly than Calzaghe, that it would open doors for him. That plan backfired. The one thing that Johnson and Hopkins have in common is that they make it a tough night for just about anyone. I doubt Kessler would be an exception.

ye he sure aint afraid to use the head. i can see him giving kessler problems. but kessler has far more power than calzaghe and i can see him keeping sakio behind that jab

What is wrong with a tough night? If he gets a tough night, and wins, thats great I think. He'd probably get more credit for that than beating a lower tier SMW easily. And Johnson ain't Hopkins either, its nothing like as bad of a stylistic matchup for Kessler as Hop was for Pavlik.

Like I said, I'd rather he fought any of the bigger name SMW's first, but below that I see **** all point in fighting anybody other than Bute, Froch or Taylor at 168. If he can't get them he should look elsewhere, IMO.
