Bute is injured and he has to defend his title against the mandatory challenger next. (Andrade)

I doubt this fight will be at 168lbs.

My guess is he'll be fighting for the 175lbs WBA belt against Braehmer.

There are guys rated higher but Braehmer has a bigger promoter.

    $$$ = title shot.

sportnews in danish radio this morning just said it will be a WBA title
fight against a big name......mundine is out, miranda is out so that leaves us with Danilo Haussler ,Dimitri Sartison, Gusmyl Perdoma ,Jean Paul Mendy,Jean Pascal ,Stjepan Bozic, Christian Sanavia ,Mads Larsen, in top 10 on the WBA list....hmmm where is the big name??

Pascal is out too, isn't he? He and Zuniga have a fight scheduled in Montreal IIRC.

I would not rule out Winky Wright for a vacant world title. I am sure a rating can be fixed and it does not necesarely has to be WBC, WBA or WBO.
Would Wright come to DK. Depends on his options and how much he is paid.

    It could also be Lacy.

Theese are the only two "big" names i can see coming to DK.
We might also be in for a big disapointment.

According to another thread, its Lucian Bute in Denmark. Which seems hard to believe.

I agree, I am expecting some kind of bogus title fight. With a new title invented for the occasion, defended by the janitor of Brondby hallen. :tired

    What tread?

Bute is injured and he won't start his training camp for his next fight until june.

No way he could fight Kessler on June 21st. ;)

Judging from the fact that the fight is a stadium fight (Brondby Stadium) I agree. Neither Haussler nor Sartison match the ticket. It really has to be a big name unless Bettina Palle suddenly got infected with grandiosity. Applying the exclusion principle I guess the name boils down to one among

    Taylor - Mundine - Miranda - Bute.

It does go against logics (1) Taylor not going to Denmark 2) Mundine unavailable 3) Miranda unavailable 4) Bute not ready) but then again what name out there actually fits the bill in terms of logics?

Yeah...Maxime is right; looks like it's Kessler v. Baehmer for the 175 WBA title.

i've heard something similar on german tv, brähmer gets knocked out though. kessler still should have stayed down at smw, his power at lhw will be nothing special.

Braehmer gets a big payday and he would have lost to a top SMW anyway...might as well lose to the best of the lot...
