:deal Agreed. Just compare the likes of BJ, Degale, Gavin and even the Walsh brothers to the top prospects in the US. And he really is hurting his fighters by not keeping them busy with genuine fights whilst they are waiting for bigger fights.

i still see brook beating jennings but not impressively, his defence is very poor, he gets caught all the time, a bit like cleverly but worse

in all honesty does anyone really believe mitchell would have got a world title fight at this point in his career if FW still had Khan??
no ****in way, he needs to have a big name, world champ marquee fighter and thats why burns and brook will get world title shots as well. cleverley will as well but hes fought slightly better opposition and is more deserving IMO

I think Cleverly's opposition has been miles better.

He's got wins over Quigley, Oakey, McIntosh and Fry - plus Brancallion who was a bit past his best but looking at Boxrec has mixed in decent class.

Plus you see improvement in every fight, despite the opponents generally looking better.... he isn't full time yet either - he's certainly one that can make the leap up, subject to the usual questions about Warren fighters, chin, power against durable fellas etc etc.

He could of been in supreme shape, the shape of his life. ready to fight 24 rounds and he still get beat. Katsidis was the man...Kev the Boy In There.

No Shame In Losing To That Warrior!!!

It might not make sense, but Katsidis just LOOKED the better man going in.

He was wearing a big helmet.

    Mitchell punched some balloons.

    Need I say more?

You're taking the **** whilst inadvertently making a good point.

You can usually tell the really good fighters to the good ones just by looking at them. There wasn't a solid look in Mitchell.

I'm sure Mitchell could still do 130 OK.

    Gotta agree.

Thought the same thing in the Khan-Malignaggi fight.

Looked at them and thought "Khan looks male, while Malignaggi looks female. I think a man should be able to beat a woman of the same weight." And I was right.:D

    Agreed they are making excuses.

I never had mitchell winning this fight. Hes a nice little boxer but he was lacking the big fight experiance and i felt the occasion would get to him. To go from undercards to behing the headliner in a football stadium....

I felt it was bad match making on warrens part but I suppose he had to take a roll of the dice with the boy.

Mitchell can come back from this no doubt and rebuild but at a reasonable rate.

Frank Needed a star ASAP and I think thats why he took the risk..

I know not all boxers look "ripped" when they are in top shape but there was very little definition as well Dan.
