The son of Tyson's old trainer turns pro at 154, and the old man will train him. http://www.boxeomundial.net/boxeo.php?category=english&id=22980
Kevin is or was a very good trainer sure he still is. Never know with father son relationships in corner/gym but he's in good hands with his father.
If he's half as good a fighter as his old man was....he'll amount to **** all Good trainer was Kevin, but no great shakes as a fighter. Only notable thing he did was get decapitated by Arguello, which I have to admit is pretty cool.
I never said that, but certainly not the kind of 'pros'pect'that I imagine will warrant any threads of his own. Rooney is massively overrated as a fighter, based on his accomplishments as a trainer, that's all.
He'll probably get a wee streak going because his day job is working with a promoter but I think getting shown on FNF may be his career highlight. Just realized, last night you never mentioned Chinese food:think How peculiar!:yep

the guy who he was fighting was 0-2 being stopped both times and had only won 2 amatuer fights (was 2-7?) so hardly anything to write home about.
It was his pro debut......................he appears to have lots of potential, but it's too early yet........
