Barring a draw, somebody's 0 has got to go. Musaev is 10-0 (6) and Seitzhanov is 11-0 (7). Big height advantage for the Russian, who seems to have been the more seasoned amateur (the Kazakh's best victory before turning pro was over Nikolai Shvab, who didn't exactly blow my socks off last week in my first glimpse of him)

They showed multiple slow motion replays of an early debatable "knockdown" scored by Seitzhanov. Yeah, no - various angles show that it was clearly his inner elbow cuffing the back of Musaev's head.

 

Imoleayo Solomon Adebayo vs. Sergey Vasilievich Kuzmin, 6 rounds @ heavyweight

 

Kuzmin is 4-0 since the loss to Bakole (four years ago yesterday) - but this is maybe his first time facing a live body in that span...depending on how you look at it, I know some people rate Richard Lartey a bit.

 

Yes. Neither this nor the main event is listed on the BoxRec page for the card (just as WBA championships and IBA Pro bouts aren't shown on there) but afaik they are both regular sanctioned pro bouts that will "count".

 

Mostly a patty-caking session with their lumpy jabs, occasionally they both swing wide, slow, telegraphed hooks and hit chest or arm.

Speed demons they are not.

 

Translating comments from the YouTube chat, nobody is even scoring the fight (or commenting on it, period) - it's all racist/nationalistic battle cries.

 

Hard to fathom how there was ever world-conquering hype around Kuzmin. Not like he's any fatter, lazier or slower at 37 now than he was then at 30, either.
