my issue is with the bold.. because that doesn't happen... rarely will a fighter come out in the public and say he's scared...

it may have sounded like for me a duck is simply a fighter refusing to fight the other but obviously there are some conditions....

it's not ducking if:

1. a fighter is injured (unless he's injured again and again - suspicious/possible duck)

2. one of the fighters is asking for an unfair split of the purse (tyson fury vs haye initially, mayweatehr vs pacman)

3. financially not feasible (mayweatehr vs alexander is not exactly a money making fight so floyd might not want it)

4. one of the fighters is unproven/doesn't deserve it... fighting bums doesn't warrant anyone a fight against the best (kell brook)

in the case of kell brook, i don't think khan is ducking him.... brook hasn't fought anyone decent and so far has let 2 opportunities slip away still he keeps calling out khan.... eddie hearn agreed on ifilmlondon a khan fight doesn't make sense YET... if brook was to even beat one top contender... maidana, broner, gurrerro, etc. and then he called out khan and khan refuses YES khan is ducking then.

 

Khan has a Glass Jaw. One of the worst in the sport. He isn't a prizefighter and is a coddled and entitled joke.
