Khan is the type of character who has a very short memory when things go wrong for him (and that's a good thing). I could write a thesis on his flaws, i don't like his fight game and some of the stuff he comes out with (he's the type who looks worse when what he says is written down btw). But everyone should respect his competitiveness, ambition and willingness to fight pretty much anyone. I have come across many so called boxing fans who dislike Khan for "non-boxing" reasons. That's just been my experience. As a result he's easier to find fault in then anyone else. No one needs an excuse to point out his character flaws. People have to try and separate their dislike from their ability to see the good things that Khan does in this day of fighters being managers.
We will find out if he does or not on Jan 18th/19th. There could be a call for an immediate rematch also.
Thought someone might suggest that! Seeing my name at the end probably convinced me to read the whole thing though ;-) And it was good. I respect Khan immensely. He's just a complete idiot and not my kind of fighter.
Looks very dodgy to me, together with the 10 mins to count the scores, a changed scorecard & now the score cards reportedly lost I am sympathic to Khan's frustration but wish he was a little more elegant in his approach. Personally, I think it's pretty interesting. No one can justify what the guy was doing and who he was, so people can say all the **** they want, but that deserves an explanation.
He's had to much his own way since he turned pro. Acting like spoiled brat. The hype has caught up with him. He's no where near as good as he thinks he is and is made out to be.
What are you talking about? Read his points and then make a judgement instead of being a sheep and following behind some posters comments.
@ punch drunk - please tell me that's you in the avi. Awesome! @ everyone else - just reviewed the pics that the Daily Mail includes & all I can say is holy crap! It really is dodgy when you see time-stamped photos of the guy interfering at the judges desk http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/bo...-raises-fresh-doubts-Lamont-Peterson-win.html Khan must be furious.
Wouldn't be the first time this sorta thing happened, I doubt he's swung the fight Peterson's way end of the day the judges without deductions scored it to Khan.
