Khan calling Hatton out for next year.

If Khan isnt willing to fight the British champ what makes you think he would fight Hatton.

 

He is claerly willing to fight Thaxton, but that would be STEP BACK NOW!

 

I think alot of people on ESB, when it come Amir khan like to turn a blind eye and just slag him off

 

Amir Khan has bigger fish to look for than Thaxton. Thaxton is not even world rated

Then why slag him off for the past 12 months, asking where he is hiding etc, then not show up for the purse bids.

Doe's being british champion mean so little to Khan, but happy to defend commonwealth.

Is it because Thaxton can punch a bit, is genuine lightweight/LW?

 

Sure StClair was a good opponent but he was fighting above his weightclass and he was brought in late to replace the danish guy.

Khan should fight Thaxton, wouldnt be a step back as he would still be the hardest hitting fighter he has fought and would test his defence/chin or lack of it.

 

everyone has seen thaxton fight, he would just be a punch bag for AK, thaxtons power is over rated by people on here. Which top class fighter has he ever beaten ?

i would love to see amir fight thaxton just for one reason to shut his critics up,

 

Listen mate, im not saying Thaxton will beat Khan, but in my opinion after mouthing off about him for the past year you cant then not fight him.

Like i say it would be a good domestic fight against a guy who can bang harder than anyone he has been in with before.

 

Hatton would destroy khan in the first 6 imo, khan does not know what to do when he gets hit back .When st clair (light punching feather weight) hit him he paused dropped his hands and looked puzzled for a second what do you think would happen when hatton was on top of him from the first bell?

 

If and when AK beats him thaxton, i can just see people of ESB knit- picking amir and saying stuff like that thaxton is over the hill and Amir has to fight someone world ranked, He is in no-win situation when it come to people of ESB.

 

i bet u were one the people who was hoping Amirs Legs would give way right ? there wasnt a single moment in the fight when amir looked in any bit of trouble against st clair.

St clair had more venopm in his punches to the body then maybe different story, but khan was very good, but instead of talking about hatton mybe he should fight romanov or katdists. OH yeah if he wants to clean up the Lightweight division maybe he should fight baby bull. OH yeah if this is a khan thread why slag ricky off.
