Bad idea at this point for Khan. Khan cannot keep off pressure, and Lucas is about as effective with his pressure as anyone in the sport right now. He stands little or no chance of weathering that onslaught for 12 rounds. To me, he should try and fight Ajose Olusegun. That seems like a good fight for both guys coming off losses, but are still considered to be top 10 in the 140 division. A win there for either guy would likely get them right back into contention. I actually think this would be a very good fight, winnable for either guy. Should Khan be stopped by Lucas, it may end his career. That seems like a stupid risk at this point. He needs the confidence of coming off a win with a solid contender before he challenges the best in the division once again, in my opinion anyways.
One of the worst jaws I've had the chance of seeing couple with perhaps the hardest puncher P4P today. Hmm, tough to see how this one would go. :think
Where is all this heart that people keep giving Khan credit for? Khan doesn't have heart, he has an over inflated opinion of his ability. Anyone can call out this guy or the next, get in the ring and get KTFO, or end up on the verge of being KTFO until the ref steps in and saves your ass. Khan is a *****, plain and simple! Heart is trying to avenge the first time you got KTFO, instead of calling it a fluke. Heart isn't saying I want to fight Lucas. If this fight gets made, the first time Khan gets cracked, if he doesn't go down, he's going to run the rest of the fight just to stay on his feet, then brag about how good his chin is afterwards. I'm suddenly a huge Mathysse fan.....
Matthysee was robbed by as big a margin against Alexander as Kotetlynik was, a man who Khan shut out.
Talk is cheap, but I think Khan may actually be ballsy enough to go after Lucas, who I personally think is all wrong for him. Khan would be in for a rude awakening if he expects to face the same version of Lucas who fought Judah. Anyway, watching this video....I couldn't help but think that fat broad would probably be smashable if she lost a good 75 pounds.
If Khan beats Mattysse I'd never judge him again... Still has a bad chin and bad mentality. no matter what
No he didn't win the fight against Judah. Judah controlled the first 6 rounds then won the 12th. At best Lucas could get was a draw, some of 7-9 could be a toss up.
I really think everyone is underrating Khan's ability to take a punch, just becuase of the Danny Garcia stoppage. He took a hard shot to the side of neck/behind ear, which took off his equilibrium and legs. He then took some hard shots in the fourth before going down. Even then, he was still coherent. People saying that he has a glass chin are hating on him for some other reason than that. Even Robert Garcia said that Khan's chin is underrated. People just want to hate for the sheer hell of it, which is totally unfair on the guy. At least he's willing to take on the best guys, unlike Danny Garcia who has a rematch with a guy he already beat. No wonder a lot old time fighters and boxing experts are saying that champions aren't real champions any more, because it's true!
I heard Khan asked for a brain and punch resistance for his birthday! Unfortunately he had to settle for a big mouth and a glass chin :hey, total bull**** :yep
Matthysse would sign khans death certificate along with the contract to make this fight, i mean is khan brave, stupid or getting a little punchy? wtf is he thinking?
