*********** has been informed that middleweight contender Fernando Guerrero (23-1, 18KOs) will be making his return to the ring on July 14th on the Amir-Khan vs. Danny Garcia undercard as he will take on Jose Medina. This will be the first fight since Guerrero suffered a partially torn bicep injury that sidelined him and caused him to pull out of the April 20th edition of Shobox where he was scheduled to fight Chris Fitzpatrick. Guerrero is currently training at the Ten Goose Gym in Van Nuys, CA with head trainer Ricky Funez.
Khan wins WBA title Defends it against Peterson Loses to an 'illegal' fighter Belt should be stripped and back to prevoius owner... Now Khan is effectivly defending it from Garcia
Not officially; think he's fighting for the WBA vacant title. He's been champ since 2009. Makes sense. Would be good if Khan can put a good performance on and actually hurt Garcia.
I been wrong plenty times. Wouldn't surprise if I'm wrong again. No big deal. I love to root for underdogs.
After seeing Lopez make Ortiz Quit, it would be ****ing awesome to see Garcia pull the upset. I always love seeing the dudes that had to come up the hard way win. I am talking about the dudes without the Endorsements, without the Nuthuggery Fanbase, the dudes without the Entourage, the dudes that are not protected hype jobs, or Promotion Divas. Making it in this sport is brutal and a long shot.....
Shame Garcia ruined that by talking out his ass and having his nutty father come along for the ride. HA! So no i'd rather see Khan beat his ass into submission.
dude its hype(build up), these cats just suck at it, thats all, the tearful celebration of his win against a past Morales was very telling.
