Fair enough he thinks he's better, he's got to have confidence to succeed at this level...it doesn't necessarily mean people have to agree with him...and I don't agree with him.

Thats why when Mayweather says he's better than both Robinson and Ali, I take it with a pinch of salt...no elite, competitive athlete would or should admit someone is greater than themselves, past or present. You could probably count on one hand the amount of people who agree with Mayweather when he says he is greater than Robinson and Ali...but it's his opinion, just like Khan's...

 

Khan has as much talent as anyone in boxing with the exception of Mayweather. The guy is a great all rounder with power.

His fatal flaw is his chin. I think he has better skill than Cotto but Cotto would invariably KO him as soon as he lands something significant. Sad but true.

 

Its possible he could be but at this moment, he is in no position to make a statement like that.

 

Why does everyone keep saying 'he's more talanted than Cotto'. Because he beat world beaters Salita and Kotelnik and ***an? He's never fought a world class fighter.

I'm still worried about that chin when he gets in with someone who can punch. Since the Prescott fight, he's fought people who can't punch. Malinaggi is another feather-fisted fighter.

When he matched with a guy who can bang, then he can show what he's made of.

you people are dumb! this is the perfect approach from Khan. There will be a lot of fighters wanting to shut him up, means he will secure big fights in the future. COme on boxing is a business! Look how Paulie managed to trash talk Pacman with all that PED stuff, and got a **** load of publicity because of it. Boxers fight their fights in and outside of the ring.

So long may the verbal sparring continue! Because it keeps us talking, and it probably gets some of the match ups that we want to see, made somewhere down the line.

 

Damn but khan seems to be getting a bit carried away recently, it will be very embarrassing if he puts in a poor performance or is made to look bad, basically he should wait until hes proven at a higher level before unloading with his mouth so much

 

They seriously need to stop this kid doing interviews. Hes obviously a very deluded young man, but he has to learn to keep these thoughts to himself. At least until hes done something remarkable.

If anyone remembers back, his mouth was running out of control just before the presscott fight and it all went wrong. Hes talked an astonishing amount of trash and made some truly bold statements in the run up to this fight with paulie. His mouth is out of control again. Hes fell once again into the trap of believing his own outragous hype.
