didnt u know? thats y Ali turned down the fight against Governator Arnold back in the day, too much one punch power. Its the sort of bull**** u expect on here for the most part when Khan is mentioned.
Ironically I can lift 125kgs as a one rep max. I'm 35 and a bigger man (180lbs) Mosley can apparently bench a **** load more than that, so I don't find it hard to believe Khan has built up to that over time. The guy trains like a wardog, eats a perfect diet and has nutritionists on his payroll.
He's a Pakistani ofcourse he can do 120kg Because 2 of his mates will be deadlifting the same 120kg simulatously and he'll only be shifting it an inch. In all seriousness he's bullshitting, most men BS about their bench, Khan isn't particularly strong or powerful
i got a friend who weighs 65kg about 5'7 and he bench presses 115-120kg. although he doesnt have a huge upperbody his arms are pretty buff. its not impossible to reach that level strength and fitness but requires hard work.
LOL How the **** do you know!? He can run over a mile UPSTAIRS. He's hardly your average LA Fitness member for **** sake!
Having wrestled though out HS and college, its normal to have above average 125lbers benching over 200lbs.
I know a chinese guy who reps on 100kg. He's like 5'5 and doesn't look that muscular. I think Khan is exaggerating though...
you know the great thing about Khan? Is anyone on here could walk up to that joke on the street and knock his Glass Jawed joke of a fighter out cold. Some could probably do it with the wind on their punches if they miss. I don't care if he could bench 500 pounds he has no god damn Chin. None.
Obviously strength is a main factor in bench pressing, it's more about technique. If your strong with no technique, you'll lift the same as somebody around half your weight. Noticed how he did'nt say how many time's he repp'd it, it's pretty believeable he could do 1 rep of 120kg, maybe even 2, but nomore
I maxed out in HS at 300 and I was only 150 to 155 lbs. So if 120kgs is under 300 lbs then I believe him.
Oh yea! That's only about 264 lbs... Khan is a buck 47, professonal athlete and his job is to train, work out and eat healthy. No doubt he is telling the truth. not sure what's so hard to believe aobut that.
