Khan is awful

    World class fighters don't get KTFO repeatedly by bums. Khan just waits for bums to hold a belt then moves in for the kill, anyone half decent knocks him out, you know this, this is why you are so angry.

    Your av is the best thing about this thread :good

    I hate Amir Khan but he is a decently talented fighter with speed. Although he has very little pop on his punches, and his chin is ****. I don't know if I'd call him awful...I cannot stand him, but calling him awful might be a stretch even for me.

    Khan is a very talented fighter, he has all of the tools except an iron chin and great ring IQ. Was hoping Roach could help with the latter but the other night proved otherwise.

    Still with that said Khan is a good fighter, has much potential and could be something special...just doesn't look like he's going to be able to acheive all that potential...

    Last i heard your man couldn't see, hear, talk, or recognise anyone, yet some claimed him to be the best thing since sliced bread, until Benn ****ed him.

    Gerald had a great chin, he suffered a tragic blood clot in a brutal battle.

    Khan falls over from the breeze of his opponent's glove in virtually every fight he has.

    The comparison is not valid.

    A fighter with neither ring IQ or power is in the wrong game.

    What exactly is Khan talented at other than flapping his arms around and running away? Please elaborate.

    Great thread, hes never been that good. We all know he has an awful chin but he also has poor footwork, Poor defense, a shocking ring IQ, No inside game, Can't fight off the back foot, average power, average jab, fights terribly when hurt, panics when hurt and can't make adjustments in a fight.

    No, I'd do it, but I'd also be realistic about my shortcomings and not gob off and make out I was unbeatable. Not with a chin like Khan's!

    Exactly, I don't understand the praise he gets,what are these ****ing talents he's supposedly got other than decent handspeed?

    He does the same **** every fight, and only usually gets away with because of clever matchmaking.

    Khan isnt awful,the thread is,olympic silver medalist,he's won world titles,beaten world class opponents,always in exciting figts,one of the biggest stars in boxing,but yeah he has a poor chin,but for me that makes his fights more exciting,and if he had an iron chin there would be nobody out there to beat him,pity..
