Your points are ******ed and I have addressed them all.

"Hes ranked top 10 by this and that"

Again you prove your ignorance by diverting the subject at hand to poor stereotyping, you have a lot of growing up to do there jack. You arent fooling anyone but just a small few who want to believe you.

You sorry ass hypocrite. You ***** about Pacquiao for fighting Mosley but go on to defend Khan for this ****.

The argument so far is that McCloskey is ranked top 10 in ring ratings so that makes it legit. Ok with that same argument Mosley is ranked top 5 by ring ratings how legitimate is that fight now???

Think before you speak. God you are such a blind nuthugger.

    :good

hes backed himself into a position whereby he cant abandon his arguement but its going in circles and not really justifying apart from "what everyone else thinks is bollocks"

For a Khan fan as you are LAz this is a decent fight - a well respected fighter in the trade and another style for Khan to get his head around

McCloskey gets paid and puts in a decent show on a big HBO card - everyones a winner

    (maybe even a shock winner?!:happy:good)

I'm not really against the Pacquiao-Mosley fight as Pac is running out of legitimate opponents and I'm sure Bob doesn't want to ruin one of his prospects(Berto) by dishing him to Pacquiao. However one reason to treat the two fighters differently is that they are on different levels and at different stages of their careers.
Pacquiao is considered by many to be the best fighter p4p in the World. Khan is ranked by many as the 3rd best Light-Welterweight, so when he's facing a man ~10th in the World at the weight, then there isn't such a big issue.

Yes rankings can sometimes be terrible, but......4th with the WBC, 5th with the WBA, 10th with the Ring, 9th on boxrec's computerised rankings, and 13th on the IBO's computerised rankings. Surely they can't all have gotten it wrong ?

Surely expectations are higher for Pacquiao at this stage of his career?

Khan is a young lad looking to get fights under his belt to improve himself and he has just come off one tough opponent with an eye looking ahead to the winner of Bradley vs Alexander, I don't see the problem with him taking this fight and a quick look at the other competition at 140 outside of the top 4 shows there is no stand out opponent for him.

Because Pacquiao is THE P4P King! Completely different!

He holds a completely different type of title.

    Let's talk the difference..

(Khan is the 140 Belt Holder)

    McCloskey:

    Undefeated.
    British Champion - Undefeated
European Champion - Undefeated. What's after European Champ? I wonder :think

    (Pacquiao is the P4P King)

    Mosley:

Lost a one sided bout to Mayweather
Drew in a terribly boring bout against Mora.

Even Khan has talked about fighting Mosley!

Khan-McCloskey is much easier to justify over Pacquiao-Mosley.

Seriously, it's not that hard to see. The guy left GoldenBoy just for this freakin' payday and that greedy ****, Arum the money collecter happily signed it.

Who gives a crap about the ring ratings? Salita was ranked #1 by the WBA. Did it make him worthy?

Fact is, McCloskey earned his way up the CORRECT way to a World title. You can't ever take that away from him.

Mosley has done **** all to earn a shot at Pacquiao when guys like Bradley, Marquez were waiting.

As a Khan fan I hope he doesn't take the fight.

He needs a proper warm up for the Bradley fight, and this isn't it.

You're enjoying the backing of a fanboy that shamelessly contradicts himself when his favorite fighter does otherwise. Yeah that is really going to support your weak argument.

but but but the body sanction rankings....:roll:

Like I said before and I already addressed it if you didnt read nor comprehend it (most likely the latter) when you're a top 5 superstar in the sport you dont take fights like this quickly when you got a mega fight (bradley/alexander) waiting at the wings.
