Thanks. Sounds like typical big fight prices then, and the usual scummy tout/scalper behaviour. I still don't like this fight, but am not going to bear a grudge against Boxxer for this.
They saw the casuals coming a mile off for this one. Lads I know with no interest in boxing are going. The build up will be fun (ish) and I’ll watch it (wouldn’t pay) but I had no interest in going. Little more than a glorified exhibition at this stage of their careers.
TBF I would love to see a "promoter vs promoter" fight before the main event or "Trainer vs Trainer".
Sold out in 10 minutes. I wonder if the people at Sky Sports lick their mouths considering all those who buy PPVs ? It´s going to be a huge succes for Sky / Boxxer.
Did I hear Hearn right when he said only 13k sold for parker chisora? I know it's not a huge rematch but really does show the power of the sky machine
funny fight comes up ten years stale and a newbie disagrees yeah ok then ive seen this pattern before darin 147 king khan 2017 or whatever this fight on the forums aint gaining traction push it all you want the fight MEANS NOTHING
If sky weren't pumping weigh in footage down peoples necks 24/7 and billing it as a massive fight i doubt half the people going would even know its on. So you think they wouldn't have sold more than 12k tickets for chisora vs Parker if the promotional videos had been pumping out to casuals every day and getting hyped on sky sports news? Dazn is still very unknown at the moment and for a PPV fight I can't remember as little hype and as few people talking about a fight as this.
Is that terrible? Chisora v Parker 2 was no way guaranteed to sell out the o2. A week before Xmas as well.
