If they had Khan -V- Maidana, Ortiz -V- Kotelnik and Saul Canelo Alvarez -V- Lovmore Ndou then its a great card.

They should put Canelo on the undercard in Mandalay bay.

But I guess thats too much to ask.

Khan's said this in today's press conference:

"The UK fans will be seeing this fight live in the UK and we're working hard to finalize that. I wanted this fight in the UK, but I'm glad to be fighting in Las Vegas in the US. If I want to be the best, I have to fight the best."

Suggests it's not a done deal but pretty close.

 

I can see it going the same route as the Malignaggi event. TK make a ridiculous demand, Sky explain that in the early hours of the morning it just isn't a realistic amount. Make an offer of what they are prepared to pay.. and TK goes off courting other broadcasters hoping sky will change their mind.

I really do hope it's sorted though. SBO for Frank Warren's hopefully awesome card, and then SP1 at 4.30am for Khan

 

The thing is, Last time when Khan fought Malignaggi in May 15th, Frank Warren put his own card on the same night in an attempt to upstage the Khan fight. He put on Mitchell -V- Katsidis the same night and was promoting it to footballers, It was West Ham this and West Ham that. It all backfired on Frank Warren when Mitchell was TKOd by Katsidis. All talk of a possible fight between Mitchell -V- Khan disappeared.

To add insult to injury more people tuned into watch Khan fight live all 750,000 people at 4am. The next day more people watched the Khan fight than the FA cup.
