Pacqiaou got knocked down and took 17 seconds to recover from a jab from one of the Hussein brothers, compare that to taking point blank haymaking lefts from Cotto square on the chin and not even flinching.
Fair enough. But the sad thing is, Khan is a World Champion, yet he is not ready for a couple of the top boxers at 140lbs, in my opinion. The Malignaggi bout would be good for two reasons. 1. Paulie has been in with some very good opposition, has experience at the top level, and has a pretty decent chin so he will probably be there for the 12 rounds. 2. If it's exposure he wants in America, im not sure how big his name is in America, but from what ive seen he is a decent name to have a 'W' against.
Khan. He is a very exciting fighter; fast, aggressive, suspect chin so there's always a chance of a KO. I think he gets far too much hate from some of the people here, I don't really understand it. I pick Khan by KO in round 5 (I like to be specific).
hmm says . . . fair enough. had me trying to think of some fighters that improved their chin when moving up. Was trying to think of some good examples. Could be a good topic to start another thread. I'm thinking most aren't too successful. One good shot to the chin the brain gets rocked and there goes your legs regardless of weight. Rico Spidora is ESB's so called "glass jaw" expert so maybe I'll look to him for more insight ... most likely not. Welcome to ESB.
Great post, we love our losers in this country, we hate ppl who have ambition lol. I have been a wee critical of Khan in the past, but when you compare him to Hatton and Calzaghe, Khan is miles ahead at the same age...miles! No wonder he wants outter here, win or lose dude has my respect for wanting to make something outter himself. The hatred he gets is amazing, you yanks are lucky to be able to watch an exciting fighter on your soil. It's either racism or jealousy due to money he has made. But I ask all you idiots who call him a ****, just look at the money footballers make and most footballers are plonkers....coughs....joey barton lol That puts everything into perspective. I want khan to win but don't mind should maidana wins as they both damn exciting.
Which british boxers have actually tried to fight the best without 30 waste of space matches? Onl 2 i can think of are Nigel Benn and Lennox Lewis. Lewis went from beating Gary Mason, to beating the crap out of Razor Ruddock.
