For his first fight in the US, this is an extremely dangerous one to take.

Too many people are overstating Amir Khan's development under Roach. Yes he has improved a good amount, but his game is still relatively simple on a world class level. It would be a huge mistake to think JMM won't capitalize on Khan's naivety, and his one dimensional form of attack. If he was capable of handling Pacquiao's speed, then he is certainly capable of handling Khan's.

Khan's methodology of lanching his attacks in a predictable straight line (backwards and forwards), will see him figured out by the mid rounds at least. When that happens, you can expect to see JMM land his accurate combinations, and accurate counterpunches. And taking in to consideration Khan's not so durable chin, it will only take a few clean shots to have him doing the funny dance again.

Dangerous fight for him to take on his American debut. More dangerous than a Maidana in fact

It's a good revival fight for ole Ricky boy. Malignaggi can't hurt him, and has been riding Ricky. His stock has taken a bump due to his fights with Diaz. He seems a bit revived himself after losing McGirt and, although I don't think he wins the fight, he gives a better showing this time around after getting back to what he does best.

Firstly i woulda rather had seen Khan Maidana but Marquez is harder strangely enough IMO. This is the same fighter that Mayweather fans kid themselves into thinking that May actually fought a tough opponent. But it is a fighter who was no2 p4p (at the right weight not 144).

As said that was at 144 (well 146 in FM's case) and Khan ain't no Mayweather skills wise. I think 140 is still too high for JMM as at 135 is was taken close. But seeing how green Khan is and how experienced Marquez is, that makes it much more intriguing.

yes, when he fought pacman he dealt with the speed. but at that time pac didnt not have the power that he has now nor what khan has. with the combination of speed and power, will be lethal especially to an ageing fighter. JMM is not as sharp as he use to be so say khan didnt not have the power, he would definitely be heavily troubled by the speed. i doubt this fight will go the distance for JMM to pick him off the in the later rounds.

This fight is more dangerous than Maidana but also more rewarding in terms of exposure and credibility. Maidana is very crude he was outboxed by Kotelnik and has a punchers chance against Khan but so does anyone with a decent punch.

A good opponent for Khan to make his U.S. debut. Khan wins this one.

Khan will dump his belt to fight this old man who is coming off a loss instead of fighting Maidana. What a joke he is.

Khan is not dumping his belt, Maidana has agreed to wait.

Who said anything about Khan dumping his belt? If this fight is actually going to take place, then he'll be defending it against JMM.

Not to mention that JMM is probabaly a harder fight than Maidana. The latter brings only power to his game, unlike the former who's equipped with awsome counterpunching ability, coupled with pinpoint accuracy in his combinations, and the proven ability to neutralize speed. He presents a package which Khan has never dealt with before.

This is a very hard fight to take in your US debut. Unlike that fella in your avatar, who fed on tomato cans till he was 35 before deciding to finally fight out of his home.

Mismatch. If JMM weren't so much more skilled than Khan, it would be an absolute licking.
