I think some people have written McCloskey off wrongly and some of his Irish countrymen have naturally lionised him the truth will probably be somewhere in the middle. I think McCLoskey has a great chance against Khan, He is slow but he seems durable. De La Hoya compared Khan -V- Maidana to Chavez -v- Meldrick Taylor, Khan being the Meldrick Taylor and Chavez being the hard hitting Maidana but I think this fight has the elements of "thunder and lighting", I see Khan being the quick Meldrick Taylor but McCloskey being the hard hitting undefeated and iron jawed Chavez that eventually stopped Taylor. Im not saying Khan is Meldrick Taylor or that McCloskey is the great Chavez but I think if this fight doesnt end early then McCloskey may just take Khan in the championship rounds and just beat the soul of Khan. Just like Taylor was never the same after the beating he took from Chavez It could happen to Khan.
How the hell is Khan going to get McCloskey out of there inside three rounds? Even Salita nearly lasted one round
McCloskey and Chavez are different entities on every single level I can think of other than the fact that they are both boxers and actual humans.
mccloskey vs Olusegun wouldve made for a better fight. mccloskey reminds me of a slower mallinagi, i see khan stopping him between rounds 5-7.
