Of course some do. Why do you think a large proportion of his fans happen to come from Nottingham? :huh

The people behind it our same guys behind channel 5 which is a multi million pound venture. Its not worth there time and effort to turn over a small profit with Primetime. And even if they were "ordinary people & entrepreneurs with fingers in other pies" there goal would be to make a significant turn over which would generate investment or a sale of the company.

I know you think im a wally when it comes to boxing but trust me mate I know about running a business and its not a good model.

There business model is limited, there not making a good return on investment. If Hopkins vs Pascal had made a decent profit we would have seen more US boxing on PT.

The local corner shop is competing with Tesco. Primetime and Premier are competing with Sky.

Last i heard they were asking for 20x the what was paid for Sturms last fight.

Well, I've not gone to the trouble to find out who's actually involved.... nor to see what they are actually making.

As for your remaining points, it's pure speculation - maybe they didn't make such a good profit on Hopkins vs Pascal and have decided to be more selective in future?

It's my opinion that Primetime aren't really competing with Sky, they're targeting a niche market and have a limited base with which to advertise.

Sometimes limited business models can be successful, if they were doing that badly I'm sure they'd have ****ed it off by now and done something else.

Maybe they aren't looking to generate investment or increase future value? Sometimes people's businesses are their living, rather than a growth vehicle to be flogged on at a future date?

Of course everyone has their own ideas on what is and what isn't a bad business model. If this venture makes a reasonable profit in the current economic climate without them having to do tons of work I'm sure they'd consider that a success.

You might think you are Lord Sugar but you aren't the only one ever to run a business you know ;)

I thought they only followed him because of his Polish ancestry?;)

Khan will beat Bradley by a comfortable margin imho
