Khans or Warrens lack of ambiton speaks volumes about their fears of losing

Gainer has done **** all since he`s track meet loss on cuts to marquez years ago. Since then he`s fought very sporadically against guys iv never even heard of. Her`s best days are long gone and i doubt he can trouble Khan that much. It would be nice to see him upset the well balanced Warren apple cart but Warren ALWAYS knows where to find them.

Theres no question about that. He`s as good as retired. He was a nice little boxer in his time and id love to think he has something left to at least bother Khan. But this is a loose loose bout for Khan and for all intents and purposes a waste of time.

Great opponent for Khan, another former world champion. We have all heard of Gainer before. Gainer beat Carlos Navarro in his last fight, he was pretty tasty a few years ago. Wasn't he in a Fight night boxing game on the PS1 ? 22KO's ! I guess Frank is starting to take more risks now.:happy

The Gomez fight was a waste of time too

Ok rough and ready Gomez gave it a good effort and it was a entertaing scrap and he exposed some Khan weakness's
but before the fight I was groaning - a washed up British level fighter gets cherry picked as Khan claims he is ready for the best in the world

I really thought Khan was ambtious with his big talk when he turned pro of being Britains youngest world champion - beating Naz record, etc

but he signed with Warren and they will do it the Warren way

remeber Ricky Hatton's gravy train WBU reign

    the same blueprint for Khan

off the back of his celebrity name Warren will sell out venues all over Britain for Khan to fight washed up crap fighters for some paper title

Thats what its all about with Warren fighters. There all cut from the same cloth. I dont know anyone who was full of joy when Warren signed Khan apart from SN. Khan is fast becoming a very loud and empty vessel. Gomez nearly upset his gravy train and exposed him badly. I guess he does need a few confidence "Gainers" (no pun intended) to get him ready for the "big time" ( i used that phrase VERY loosely) but this bout doesnt lend much credibility to his cause as Gainers been inactive for such a long time. Frank always has some knack for pulling out the most unexpected fighters from no where and then actually trying to sell it as top shelf material.

All Sport Network fighters are the same - agreed - and it looks like Khan is going to be another one

Just a thought though - give Enzo Maccarenelli some credit - he is one sports network fighter who fought David Haye - a bout that was more than risky - the majority of people expected him to be beaten and KO'd.

Enzo took the fight - and it could not have gone any worse to be honest - it was a nightmare night for him - but least he didnt stay protected in Warrens WBO Wonderland.

The thing is some time before that fight Warren was trying to match Enzo with Erza Sellers - talk about ill preparation for taking on the undisputed crusierweight champion

Gainer has mixed in excellent class throughout his career.... however this match is nothing more then a glorified spar. Gainer doesn't make good fights. Kevin Kelly-Gainer is the only fight i've seen himm in that was remotely entertaining and he got mirked.
