Schaefer said hbo has a three card deal next year first one April in England possibly against Zab Judah Then Bradley/Alexander in July Then a fight lat on in the year
A deserved fight after a war like he went through, and Bradley/Alexander winner will have to be in the U.S anyway, so it'll have to be him probably. I will be going to it, for sure.
It's a **** fight for Khan. Judah has been whipped by every good opponent he's faced in the past five years...... why take this fight? I'd sooner see a Maidana rematch, Marquez or Katsidis. Hopefully with Guzman vs an AK 47 on the undercard.
I dunno why but I am not too excited by the though of Amir taking on Zab, he just did not look too good against Matthyse and I would more rather Zab got used to being 140 again by staying busy taking other fights. I have no idea why but I want to see Khan-Prescott II, you could tell yesterday that he really wanted to prove his chin and that the criticism really hurt him. So after a terrific performance against Maidana I would love to see him right his wrong and beat Prescott in emphatic fashion so that he can finally feel that he has gone past that part of his career. Also wouldn't mind seeing him against Ortiz, Peterson, McCloskey.
I'm not exactly thrilled by it but can't complain after last night and them lining up Bradley for after.
HBO won't want to derail the Khan-Bradley/Alexander winner. It looked like Guzman had a good chance of landing the bout until he failed to make weight yet again! I'd prefer Katsidis in there, wouldn't mind Zab though....hes still only be beaten by Tszyu at 140 so it'd be a decent addition to Khans record.
if thats what there after then judah is perfect , i wouldn't mind seeing judah fight in this country.
He needs Katsidis next like he needs a hole in the head. I would guess if he's in the UK next it'll be Olesogun or McCloskey.
I'd keep him well away from Judah, far too much risk for little reward. Judah can be as dangerous as hell for at least 4 rounds.
It's on HBO so Olusegun is definately out of the running and McCloskey has a very slim chance of getting the fight.
So who does that leave, assuming it's in the UK? I honestly don't think Judah or Ortiz would travel. And the and the Ortiz fight doesn't make much sense as far as I can see anyway. Peterson would probably travel, but that would be a tough sell. Prescott would sell, but he's over that after last night. They've both moved on. You know what, after last night I wouldn't begrudge him the Morales fight in the MEN.
Judah travelled to the uk to Fight wittier when Judah was champ So I think Judah will travel as the challenger
