The only way Khan can avoid losing to Matthysse is by not fighting him. That's the only way. Khan has a below average chin. It's not as bad as his defence makes it look but it's still pretty bad. He doesn't hit hard enough to hurt or even discourage Matthysse and the idea that he could go 12 rounds, even in ultra safety mode, is ridiculous against someone like Matthysse who makes a living knocking even people with solid chins out/down.
You are correct. Ajose would beat Khan handily. Matthyse would destroy Khan. Let's be very honest and acknowledge that these fights will not get made as putting Khan in with live boxers who can punch is career suicide. If Team Khan are smart they should match him with Malignaggi whois tough but cannot crack an egg.
Khan's defence isn't that bad. His ring IQ is a far bigger issue and it's the reason why he's so easy to hit at times.
