    @danrafaelespn: Richard Schaefer also says that the 12/10 @AmirKingKhan-@kingpete26 fight will definitely take place in Washington DC, specific venue TBA.

    Is Amir going directly to 147 after this fight? If so, why make the mandatory defense?


    Maidana rematch is just 200% more attractive than a tactical fight with Lamont.
    Anything Peterson does, Khan does better. It's not a bad fight, but if Amir is moving up anyway then it's just not necessary.

    I actually agree with you somewhat. I guess Khan sees this as a good dry run for the potential Mayweather fight, considering Peterson has some pretty solid skills. :conf

    I get what your saying but post his fight with Amir wht fight has Marcos had which he looked good in? Alot of people said Eric won that match even with 1 eye shut. He avoided fighting for the WBC belt with Morales instead fighting a boxer last week who is ranked 57th? And if he didn't fight Lamont his mandatory then people would say Amir is ducking him. Plus i think it won't be a bad fight to watch on the 10th... i wouldn't completly rule of Lamont; afterall he has a draw against Victor and a loss against Timid Timmy.

    Kahn will use his range and hold on the inside.....no points will be deducted and if lamont decides to hit while being held he will be warned.

    Seth "Murderous Mayhem" Mitchell is also on this card. I want to attend, going to DC with side trips on the metro to Falls Church and Rockville is a tremendous vacation
