It would be like the acosta fight only khan makes it to the end and pulls out an 8-4 type decision.

Yes but the difference is Khan is used to fighting guys at 150+ rios isnt.
Just look at the Peterson fight Rios had 15 pounds on him.

Rios isn't on Khan's level. He would slice open. Not even remotely competitive.

Yeah, but for the most part, 150+ pound fighters who rely on speed and illusiveness (Judah, McCloskey, Malignaggi) rather than size and strength, to get by. And two of those guys (McCloskey, Malignaggi) are probably no stronger than your average lightweight.

The only physically imposing fighter that Khan has faced since moving in to the division, ironically, is the fighter who Rios resembles most in style and size, and the one who gave Khan the most issues.

True enough, Rios did enjoy sizable advantages in size when he fought Peterson (and maybe Lowther too), but Peterson is an unusually small lightweight, probably small enough to campaign at 130. Either way, I'm not completely convinced the difference in size was nearly as dramatic when Rios entered the ring against Acosta and Antillon (can't say for certain because no fight night weights were given).

Khan himself would take the fight, yes. But I'm not sure his handlers would be too keen on it. Rios would present a tougher challenge than Maidana did. He cuts off the ring better, he's better on the inside, and he's much harder to keep off. If the two were ever to fight, I can see it being a lot like the Rios-Acosta. Khan looking like a million dollars in the first half, but gradually begins to lose stamina and snap in his punches, making Rios respect his power less and less. From rounds 8-12, Khan would be re-living his Maidana nightmare.

Khan would get beat up like he does in sparring against the GOAT.

I still think a pressure fighter causes Khan problems but how strong would Rios be against Khan? I know Rios is a huge lightweight but Khan is a pretty big light welter himself. Khans speed and jab would be the key to this fight. Khan UD

Here comes the khan hater again. 50/50 my ****ing ass. Rios would be ten times easier than Judah his face would be like minced meat after 4 rounds. Rios has no ****ing defense WTF are you talking? Have you seen how bloody was Judah's face after 3? And to think Judah has a million times better than Rios. Rios toughness will be the only thing that will carry him thru mid rounds. This fight isn't even funny with khan peppering Brandon with lead left jabs and 1-2 combos.... I had the Judah fight total mismatch this one is even worse :patsch:patsch:patsch

For heavens sake Khan has way more power than Acosta. Khan fought like PAC against Maidana but I think he realized he can win fights lopsidedly by not engaging too much and you see the changes against Judah. Rios won't make it to the 10th against Khan. His face would be mangled like Margo against PAC.

Khan would box circles around Rios.

Rios is not in any way shape or form on Manny's level. Khan would box circles around him.

Rios is a 151 pounder on the night fighting fighters who are prob 140 pounds on the night. Thats why he has done so well at lightweight. Now put him against a HUGE lww with power, speed and a good defence and he will get knocked out. I seen Antillon hurting rios to the body once or twice, so khan would prob stop him with a body shot.
