Can’t Eddie employ anyone British to read into a microphone instead of American Predator dreadlocks. Jeeez.

Fitzy looked a bit ragged in RDs 8 and 9 but what a lovely finish. Important rounds in the bag and he now moves onto 11-0. I still think he has another couple of gears. Self motivation in the ring is my only real concern.

Still work to be done before he faces Fowler. Banger v Boxer.

I like Fitzgerald but he looks stuck between weights to me. After the commonwealth games in the ABAs he was badly struggling with whichever weight he was at then, can’t remember, and he got battered so it’s nothing new.

He seemed to admit in the interview then he shouldn’t be left alone between weigh in and fight but I’m wondering if he’s just clutching at straws for solutions. Hopefully he just hasn’t trained as hard as he’s saying because i think he’d be too small for middleweight if he can’t make 11 stone.

Looked class in the first two rounds and some of his shot selection even later on is excellent but he’d have to improve a lot against Fowler. Fowler can be overly eager though and if he walks into one of them he could be out. Hopefully if Fitzgerald is fitter he wouldn’t be trying to knock his opponent out with every shot to get out of there, he’d look a lot better then.

Still an interesting fight and fair play to them for wanting it this early.

I like Diamante. I think he's a dapper. The double name thing is a throwback to the old school US boxing MC's.

I thought Big Buff had this one though sure he was at the weigh in.

Think he just turns up for the main event most of the time.

I never knew that about the old school US mcs. Thanks for the education.

Good scrap that one Welbourne should have got him out of there when he had the chance.

Fair play to Langford for toughing it out, might have just nicked a decision.

Langford robbed there. Did Welborne do anything other than them 2 knockdowns! I never agree with Froch but I thought he was bang on tonight. Langford was brilliant, brave, composed and landing the cleaner stuff. Welborn plodded and did nothing I thought.

That’s what British Boxing is all about. Jason and Tommy just put in a great fight there and very pleased to see Jason win. Well done Jason mate.
