Put Khan in with Juan Diaz

 

well ... this its similar to de la Hoya Pacquiao.... and Chavez jr vs all his opponents... it doesn't mean that Khan its good.. it need to be proved ... like pac vs marquez prime... pac vs morales prime... pacquiao vs. barrera prime...
Khan need a real test... i love Barreras big heart and alsways being a warrior... but he wasnt capable to be a test for khan... maybe he could koed him.. buts a different story ...
Khan vs juan Diaz.... Khan Vs. Campbell... would be interesting fights... Khan vs. SOTO also could be there..

 

Garbage 'fight.' Love the way it was stopped in the 5th, and not the 4th. And after Khan was whacked with a right. Total BS, and the Brits are acting like it's Douglas-Tyson.

Khan still looked decent, in and out with fast combos and kept his chin hidden. but diaz is a punching machine

 

Even before he got cut he was getting hit pretty cleanly.

 

Khan massacred Barrera. But damn, this guy's style is ugly.

Shame about the cut. This fight did nothing to change my conception of Khan.

The Cut could have split Khan's face wide open and knocked him out, where are all the posters from Scotland? a good old Glasgow kiss normal puts a man down for a few minutes.

 

Barrera said the same thing.....he said the fight should have been stopped sooner as the cut was as big in the first round that it was when they stopped it....

....but because Khan was winning the rounds and they're in his hometown....they played it out till after 4 rounds were complete so that it would go to the cards and not be ruled a no-contest.



Personally, this is the first I see of Khan, and he looked impressive to me......

.....against an experience fighter like MAB however, its really hard to tell what would have been had the cut not been an issue and the fight went to the later rounds when Khan's speed is diminished by fatigue, and the experienced fighter pulls out his tricks.

Khan was impressive, but whether he's made of Championship mettle is inconclusive based on this fight.


Btw, Khan was stunned by a MAB shot in that 5th round......I thought he slowed down just a tad in that round.....and who's to say that MAB without the cut would'nt have taken advantage and exposed deficiencies in Khans armor down the stretch.
