I agree, i don't think it will make much of a difference to Khan but it will to McCloskey if you know what i mean. If he hears loud cheers for him after every punch he throws it could spur him on that bit further.

I still think Khan is going to win but it could make McCloskey try that bit harder even though fighting for a world title is motivation enough if that makes any sense.

Hmmm interesting one, hard to tell what impact it will have. I'm conscious of the fact that fans can't directly influence a fight but if I was Khan I would much prefer the Irish fans weren't there and I would much prefer I didn't have to deal with the TV trouble.

True, he is a professional but its all distracting none the less, Khan could do without having to go out and do battle in a hostile atmosphere for what is supposed to be a stay busy home coming fight.

hesays team khan did everything they can to limit the irish support but doesnt back this up how?? i know that the fighter has so many tickets to sell through themselves (or own website etc etc) but its not like football were that allocation will bew the only ones available to paul's fans they could just as easy go on ticketmaster and buy tickets

Khan was booed on his own turf by his own countrymen against Barrera, with a notable amount launching racist chants. I doubt the McCloskey fans will be doing anything he's never experienced before.

I think it will be similar to what we saw in the Malignaggi fight. Khan taking a round or two to familiarize himself with Paul's movement and style, before hitting the target more and more, and working to a decision. Either that, or Khan opts to go for another blistering start, and maybe overwhelming Paul in a quick stoppage.

I hope it's the former, though.

    What do you think?

Props to Khan for his recent form but I can still see Willie Limond flattening him.
