Frye was old as the hills and gassed after a few minutes. It took James at least 2 minutes of near punching himself out to get the stoppage and he too was entirely spent.The victory was hollow and meant nothing. A prime Don Frye would eat Jame alive and James knows it. Dam shame as Thompsons such a nice kid.

 

I hope Thompson wins but I doubt he will. Looking forward to the Lawler vs Smith and Baroni vs Villasenor fights. I think Lawler will win his fight but not so sure about the other fight but I think Villasenor might take it. The longer this fight goes the more it will favour Villasenor as we all know Baroni gasses.

 

Prime Frye was only really successful in a bygone age now anyway. The sport has evolved way beyond guys like him.

I have nothing against Kimbo, I just don't see any evidence he'll be anything more than a poor man's Bob Sapp.

 

Frye used to kick some serious butt in the era right after they learned to defend against Jiu Jitsu stuff...

Kimbo probably has a better chin than Sapp but other than that I agree with you.

 

I would put him over a lot of guys today - go look at his old fights. He could get down.

 

I bet on Thompson for the upset. The odds are just too good to pass up.
