The only Olympian I don't see going too far is Jefferies.

Murray, DeGale, BJS and Jeffries can all progress beyond domestic level IMO.

i'm talking about the 1's in warrens stable i'm not sure about the rest , out of the 3 gavin seems the only standout, that gypo fights like a bum and with skills like that i dont understand how he managed to be qualify as an olympian,

Jeffires and BJS are going nowhere past British level mate and unless DeGale gets some 'Warren Matchmaking' i'll be very very suprised if he does.

By the way since when was Murray an Olympian ?? He's Euro level tops :good

    Joe Murray ;)

Its funny how opinions can change of certain fighters (I'm not talking about you here, just posters in general), because Saunders was rated as the best prospect we have (alongside Groves), yet now he is just a fat ******* who needs to lose some weight. Also, at that time Gavin was rarely mentioned as being a great prospect either.

Jeffries, maybe I am biased, but I feel he can go beyond domestic level as well, just needs to be more composed.

Fair enough mate. Joe Murray seems ok pal i'll give you that :good

I know what you mean but for the record I never really said anything about BJS as I wasn't too sure how he'd turn out and to be fair I'm still not. He hasn't really looked like showing glimpses of promise against good fighters in the way Gavin has but then again he hasn't been as poor against crap fighters in the way DeGale has shown at times. The weight though is a big issue for me with him

I think it's too early to judge Jeffries.

The last guy he faced (and all the others for that matter) would struggle to beat a drunk in a pub.

Gavin is being matched properly, Saville was a decent fight to make..... I'd move him along faster.

DeGale might win a European but for me doesn't have the goods to be world class, and Saunders I'm not sure about to be honest. Weight is obviously an issue.... perhaps they see 168 as the division he will fill out into, but even that being the case it seems daft to have him up there.

I'm disappointed that Groves has gone with Maloney - he ought to have gone with Warren or Hatton...... little Frank hasn't done a good job (IMO) with many fighters lately, other than Munroe of course.

I mean he looks far to small to be fighting at the weight he is and his torso is soft. If he lost some weight and toned up he could be fighting Middle/LightMiddle and be a hell of a lot stronger too. TO ME, he doesn't even seem to be trying to make a weight

I'dve thought Light Middle would be a tad too far for Degale... suppose only time will tell.

With regards to his ability, he has got potential, but ive got doubts if he'll make it upto world level. Also think his "yeah, im an olympian, naht-a-mean" attitude will hold him back.

SG85 - Sorry mate I just read my post and yes it's confusing. I'm talking of BJS with regards to the weight not DeGale
