Not a chance. Wilder is way too fragile to survive Ortiz's onslaught. outjabbing lethargic and lazy back foot fights like Stiverne, Duhaupas, and a bum like Molina doesn't mean you have a world level jab. Ortiz would laugh at his pathetic jab and KO him.

Okay let's all cool it a little, what evidence do we have that Ortiz has a world class chin? Bryant is no puncher and he rocked Ortiz in the second round, if Jennings can rock him Wilder can too. And we haven't see Ortiz play the part of the pressure fighter yet either.

If he can get to someone like Jennings early who's far more defensively sound then Wilder is then well.... You know.... Ortiz may or may not have a good chin, but when Eric Molina is taking your power for nearly 10 rounds your power is definitely overrated. I think Ortiz would be alright

What evidence do we have that Molina doesn't have a world class chin? He hurt Arreola and when after him with a vengeance and got caught, and it took a few more bombs to polish him off. Let's not act like Chris wasn't a fairly big puncher a few years ago. It's not stellar but it isn't that bad either.

Another thing.... yeah Jennings is usually defensively sound but he sure as f*** wasn't the other night even in the opening round, he gave Ortiz ample opportunities to hit him with flush uppercuts while rushing in on him. Not quite the defense first "I'm coming here to survive and nothing more" performance he put on against Wlad.

You might have a point if Molina wasn't polished off in 1 by an unknown a couple of years prior. Molina does not have a world class chin, not even close to it. Wilders power was just overrated and it showed as soon as he stepped up in class. nearly a 1/3 of the rounds he's gone in his career he's gone in his last 3 fights!

Wilder for all of his improvements still is nowhere near a defensively sound fighter and there will be plenty of opportunities there for Ortiz even early into the fight. It would not be pretty let's just say that.

Yeah you said the same thing about Stiverne too.

There's a lot of question marks about the HW division right now, no prohibitive favorite in my book yet. Fury did well against Wlad, because Wlad didn't push the action, Wlad pushed it in the 12th, he no look too well. So anyone who applies constant pressure and a little head movement takes out Fury.

Wilder looked damn good and very disciplined against Stiverne, but weak against Duhaupas and Molina, but hasn't been KO'd yet, it could be that he prepares for his level of opposition. But he also might be a huge KO waiting to happen.

Joshua just stopped Whyte, well holy ****, Whyte is clearly Foreman level. Too soon to tell, also if Whyte can get to him and rock him badly in the second, what does someone with a bigger punch and better gas tank and better chin do?

Ortiz has KO'd bums so far, Jennings didn't fight the right fight, if he had, maybe he wouldn't have been KO'd. He went in with a diminish Wlad, with the intent to not get KO'd, he went in against Ortiz with the intent to win, and paid for it. Jennings doesn't have that good a chin and he went 7 rounds with Ortiz. Ortiz still has a lot to prove to me.

But they all lose to Joseph Parker anyway so its a moot point.:deal

    All world class big men.

    All with solid amatuer careers.

Lets see him fight a Euro level like Wach or Ustinov and then we can decide.:huh:huh:huh

Wilder and Joshua is favor, just slightly. Ortif winning would not be surprising in the least.

Fury and wlad get stopped much quicker than jennings. Wlad earlier than fury.. if fury went 12 with this wlad, that moves him further down the hw rankings for me..

Fyi: have to admit, it was good of you to leave that fringe contender povetkin out of the conversation as he has zero chance against all 4 of them beasts

Would love to see Wilder vs Ortiz though, would be a great fight. Fury beats him fairly comfortably, Klitschko should beat him on points and Joshua shouldn't even be in the picture right now, great talent but has done nothing to deserve being mentioned in the same bracket as these guys.

Ortiz is a sucker for someone with a good straight right. Fury and Wlad keep him away with a long jab and win by late KO.
    Joshua gets KTFO.
Wilder probably can't withstand Ortiz, but could land that long right that Ortiz is open for time and time again.

I just watched the fight and Ortiz is a very skilled operator. That said, he has no chance against Fury, Wlad, or Wilder.

Ortiz is a counter-puncher first and foremost and he needs room to punch. Jennings best work was when they were in close quarters where he took advantage of hooks and uppercuts. Ortiz didn't like that and kept him at bay by pushing him away and using a very solid jab.

Ortiz is not going to out jab Fury, Wlad, and Wilder. They are not as skilled, but they are tall, have long reach and know how to jab. For someone shorter to beat them they have to pressure and use head movement to get on the inside.

Fury, Wlad, and Wilder are the top 3 guys right now. Wald should probably just retire since there isn't anything else for him to prove. He reigned as champ for a long time. The power vacuum will leave room for fresh new fights.

Think this is spot on, although I'd put money on Ortiz over Wilder
