Per the main page here and Rafael. I like Delvin Rodriguez a lot but I don't like his chances in this match-up. It still would be a fun fight to see.
I don't like this match up much either. I think Kirkland is stronger than Wolak. But if Delvin wants the fight, then big ups to him. He deserves a good payday on a major network, and he is capable of landing a big shot on Kirkland's chin.
This is a stupid fight for GB to make with Kirkland. It doesn't really showcase him and it's not a significant name either. He just had a big fight, get him another one. What if he gets caught early again, nothing to gain in this fight.
This should be really good. Rodriguez obviously can't afford to get hit by Kirkland the same way he was by Wolak in their first fight but it will be interesting to see what happens if he can time Kirkaland on the way in.
I guess its good for Rodriguez to get on HBO and land a payday in a major fight. This is a bit of an odd fight for Kirkland since there isn't a lot of upside in it for Kirkland and Rodriguez could always land something big, but I guess getting on HBO is always a good thing. If this fight does happen I expect Kirkland to walk right through Rodriguez. He doesn't have the durablility or strength to keep a relentless Kirkland off of him. He could always land something big to change the fight but I don't think he does, it should be a short but fun fight and Kirkland should be a big favorite. Kirkland by ko.
Not a good move for Rodriguez, but very admirable and respectable if he wants this fight. What about Mayorga/Kirkland
I would love to see Rodriguez put on a clinic but Kirkland just doesn't stop but then again this is NOT Anguelo !
how isnt a good move for rodriguez . the dude is a top 10 . 154. if not top top 10 then hes seriously like top 12. its not like kirkland really proved himself . ya he beat angulo which was impressive. but rodriguez beat wolak which is impressive. i think its a great fight , n kirkland v mayorga would be good but come on mayorga is done. i think its best if mayorga stays retired.
