Kirkland got hurt because he tried to feint and he's awful at it. He should stick to moving his head and going nuts. Kirkland hits behind the head and the ref warns em. Ref seperates and Kirkland hits him on the break. Awesome action so far.
Julio popping and moving, Kirkland still in seek and destroy mode. Kirkland looking to kill, Julio moving. Kirkland either has a great chin that Allen Conyers got lucky against or Julio has no pop anymore. Julio has some nasty swelling on his left eye I think. Julio and Kikland being a bit more cautious in round 4. Julio moves much quicker than I last remember him...maybe Kirkland is just slow.
Cut the guys some slack. The action is moving REALLY REALLY fast and it's hard to keep track of all the punches flying. Kirkland certainly shows his inexperience by not throwing any body punches. When you have an opponent who constantly moves and stays on the ropes for an extended period of time, you should pounce to the body.
Kirkland looking good. Looks like he could 20 rounds. Julio backpedaling throwing a couple if punches and holding. HE looking tired since round 2
LEts face it. The only reason Julio is at 154 is because competition at 147 was too much for him. Quintana proved that.
Julio running and hugging at this point, He can't get Kirkland's respect and Kirkland is still popping rapid fire onto Julio. Still no body punches from Kirkland either. Julio's eye is NOT looking good and Julio is already got the pouty face coming out. 4-1 Kirkland.
