Either way, the Heavyweight class of the 2008 Olympic games took a huge hit today. David Price was knocked out with the slowest, softest punch in big time boxing history. And Glazkov was clearly schooled tonight.
Interesting night of fights. Smith and K9, I like them both. Two hard working guys, tough luck guys, K9 had his time in the sun. I'm happy that Smith has his opportunity now to cash in a bit. The same goes for Tony Thompson. Good guy, nice guy, glad he's still hanging around. He's a quality fighter that's sneaky. Just rewatched that fight now and David Price looked like he just lost his shape. I don't know if he underestimated TT or what, but he just wasn't fundamentally sound. He needs to look at the tape, just get back to being sound fundamentally. That left hand should not be at the knee, especially, against a southpaw. Either way, big win for Thompson. Especially, after he came in weighing in at 264. Definitely thought he would just cash out, but good for him. He's still relevant and hanging around in that top 10.
