Robney what you think of the idea of picking UD's as rounds ratio 12-0/8-4/7-5 type, instead of close/wide ? PS: Only for WBK fights.
Then the chance one of us is right is even smaller. We should have gone with my second option idea, but noooooo.... :bart
It just didn't felt right picking on a fight twice. I Have no idea what you tried to say, what you meant with this sentence.
if one says 8-4, and another 9-3... chances are pretty big it won't be any of those 2. (options are 12-0, 11-0-1, 11-1, 10-1-1, 10-0-2... etc etc... to 6-5-1). Not to mention point deductions, KD's and everything. And another problem. It hardly ever happens 3 judges score it the same, and also 2 scoring the same is only in about 30 to 40% of the fights. So we have to chose the closest one to that, wich gives a lot of other problems to boot. or do you plan to go "all above" and "all under"?
If one say's 8-4 and another say 9-3 as in the Ko rules the one whos closer get's to win the round. Closer to the average of two of the 3 scorecards the 2 that look more fair and closer to reality, as Kirks said he takes under consideration
Kirk right now, said he takes under consideration for the Close/Wide UD's two most fair judges scorecards. As in Smith SD - 116-111/113-114/116-111. Kirk will take under consideration 116-111. That's 8-4 minus point deduction. so 8-4 would be the closest. And if you got crazy ideas you can also say 8-3 taking into consideration a point deduction.
Sorry I reacted this late, because I'm at work and already managed to get a freakin' headache here. I will look at it later on :good
