The 1-5 thing is a good idea for the voluntary. Having 15 ranked guys might not, because sometimes there might not be 15 guys who pick all the fights in two weeks consecutive. I fear there wont be 10 who do that. There will be holes in any direction we go, we will correct the flows as it goes, and get fast into a more compete form.
The 15 thing was just to show you keep it going if you had more than 10. Theoretically, you could go to any number. If you stick to tiers of 5 guys and a must fight only tier up or down, it ensures guys earn their shot at the top, or their demise should they suck.
There's not much of a difference between the rule I proposed that you cannot challenge more than 3 ranks higher and this things with tiers you do. Try and explain to me the advantages of your proposal, or the disadvantages of mine.
The thing with the champion only being allowed to pick his voluntary from top5 is cool, but I think more like top10. To have some ups even if you are at the bottom of the rankings and make guys wanting to break into it for one reason more.
It seems a lil easier to digest is all. It's streamlined and easier to follow, and it ensures that if more people get involved, which they might, it can carry on without a hitch. Either way, this is Kirk's thang, and yours too. I'm just trying to lend ideas. I'm in regardless.
To me it looks more complex, to divide them into tiers then to use a universal rule for all. I do appreciate the second opinion and the ideas.
Beast, tonight when I get home and back in the league I will sit down and look through your proposals, as well as Des's, and then give you my honest feedback m'man :good
Gang, Tonight I am sending out a quick news thing on a decision Ive made, to at least try to do, and will be sending to everyone whos email I have. Ill check back in tonight.
Im liking what Im reading so far Beast, about the ideas. I have a few notes to make on it, which Ill touch on tonight. Cool idea.
Oh well, read your mail Kirk. It will probably take a week to be done maximum 2, depending on how good the guy who you hire is, and how serious, the time he has etc. If you choose to pay you should have him create a simple algorithm that helps you to update things easier. Make a table were you would get infos in new entries and the Ranking rearrange themselves by the criteria you choose to differentiate us. :good
