10 picks symbolizing 10 rounds of a bout. The only thing is that you gotta specify if the UDs are close or wide, and the round of the TKO.

The picks will be Private Messages to me, the Ill post it right away after I got the both guys pics. Otherwise one will get the unfair advantage of seeing how his opponent pick. And sometimes you change your normal pick if you see them, not always for the best.

Look at the preliminary standings. See for yourself. It only can get better since it will be more exciting, and more competitive.
And fighting in face-ofs against each other, 10 ranked guys and probably 4 unraked. so 14 guys 7 fights will probably be the numbers.

Plus the two in the battle for the belt in a 12 rounds/picks fight.

Guys, des, kirk. How about the first time around nobody chose, but they get assigned.
#1 - will be vacant because who will be in that spot at the end of this fight will become mandatory. And starts to get the power of choosing and match-making before the voluntary, after they got a first taste of how it goes.
But then it still remain a question, how should We pair the rankings? Whats the best and most fair set-up.

    Good idea.

Hey Beasty, have you and Kirk given any thought to having a set schedule of fights? Meaning, everybody would fight at the same time, the same block of 12(or 10) fights. It would help with the scheduling hangups and keeps everyone active all the time.

Im working on something. I will probably torture you with some mathematics.
I need second opinions, Kirk seems not to be talking to me anymore so I'm open to listen to anyone who has one. I think I wrote a book in the last 4-5 pages.

I've been there, brother. :verysad The bends can be a doozy.

I'll teach you a trick for dealing with boxing withdrawal; if you're ever sequestered on jury duty or away for a family camping weekend or in the midst of a power outage or anything of that nature:

Think of your favorite match, one you have seen numerous times, enough to have entire sequences memorized...pick a round or two (because no matter how smart you are the human brain is lazy and can only squirrel away so much data per memory cluster; hence why there is a limit on how many digits in phone numbers etc.) and in your free time spam your eyes with them, so you know every punch and feint...

Then when you're stuck in the unpleasant doldrums, take your hands and 'face' them against each other with thumbs pointing in at yourself and pinkies on the other side. Curl into a fist with your middle three fingers rolled up and leave thumb and pinky sticking out. Now, these are your "fists", bring them closer together in as close as you can get to a high guard depending on your individual dexterity. Place your elbows on a flat surface like a tabletop and square them up like boxers in a face-off each with your radius for a chest and ulna for a spine. Now practice "footwork" with the point of your elbow, just making short little hops and shuffles. Have them circle each other and throw a few jabs with your right thumb and left pinky. (or you can reverse by designating either arm to be southpaw, if you feel like getting more advanced) Then have the action heat up, both throwing combos in the pocket, bobbing and weaving, hitting the body - don't be afraid to really finger yourself hard and don't worry if your nails break the skin at times, it only makes it more realistic. Now obviously the bottom of your palm/top of your wrist constitutes where the "chin" would meet the "neck", and it's difficult to get your pinky-and-thumb guard to wrap around that area, but just tuck in the joint (like you would tuck your chin) and leave the rest to your imagination. The proportions are slightly off but you should be able to suspend your disbelief, and you can practice all sorts of defensive maneuvers to explain why neither of your hands is getting KTFO despite having a giant available target for a chin. (or simply claim you have iron wrists; it's your show). Mix in some clinches (to observers you will look to be in prayer), rabbit punches (the bony part of the back of your hand makes a really nice audible effect, thudding especially from big wide thumb-hooks), knuckle-butts, and low blows (your gonads are located about three inches up from the crook of your elbow) to spice it up with some authentic-feeling drama.

Try and give each arm its own personality and style or play around with different templates for both: slugger, cutie-pie, swarmer, etc.

Now, whenever you are stuck in those dull situations you can simply apply your memories of that couple of rounds of your favorite real-life match to your highly trained limb-men, and have them act it all out for you so you never have to be deprived of your spectator joy.

I've waged vicious reenactments of the Marquez vs. Vazquez trilogy, with some lasting scars.

    #6 vs #8 #8 wins by UD(w) -- #8=7+5+3=15 / #6=9-1-2=6

How flawed is the system above?
How would it look like done on feeling and perception without the point system, based on match-ups and reputation only. Would he bee much different?
