    The thing is I take pride in trying to make it look almost perfect as in reality. I think that would be cool. I think guys will find that appealing. Also that makes it a bit complicated for me. But I think I figured it out. There are still so many variables and I did a mall simulation, that's not really enough to figure it out how flawed it is. And until it is tested on a real first set of match-up that will have different results, we cant tell for sure if its good or not. If its not will just go on experience and common sense, of two or three different guys.

    This formula I invented, works very good with fighters/memebers making their own match-ups. Challenging who they desire, with a small set of rules that will not allow them to jump from #10 to #1 in a single fight(jumping stages). But as I see it right now, and what I understand from what you're telling me. The simplest the better. At least for the first time, its better to have pre-determined match-ups. Because otherwise some fighters might be left without an opponent by simply not knowing whats going on. After that, after they see how it is,and understand better we can switch to let them try and find match-ups for themselves.
    This formula I was working on has variables as for example:
    #1 fighting #4
    and
    #2 fighting #3

    All this guys have chances of becoming #1 next time around, depending if they win their match-up and how they win it.And also if the other guys claiming the same spot(#1) has a better or worst performance in his victory.

    So, with my formula:
    If #4 beats #1 by TKO
    and
    If #3 beats #2 by UD

    #1 drops to #4 ,based on his awful performance and having as an opponent the lowest rank of the four guys/
    #4 jumps to #1 ,because of the great achievement and also the way he did it, very convincingly, impressive. Exceeding #3 who won his fight but against a slightly lesser opponent and by a close UD, a less impressive performance.
    #3 goes to #2
    #2 goes to #3 or lower depending on what #5 does( haven't used the formula to see what happens in a best situation for #5)

    So with the same formula
    If #4 beats #1 by UD
    and
    If #2 beats #3 by UD

    Then #2 will set in the best position and #4 will be second mostly because of his superior former rank over the guy who claims the same place and also that the match-up was more competitive and evaluated more highly.

    Any way if the formula doesnt work perfectly will just use common sense. :good

    This is very slowly spiraling out of control.

    Its decided. Ill try that and like I said if it doesn't work me and Kirk will be using common sense.
    Anyway that was mostly for me, kirk, and whoever wants to help on doing the rankings. Other guys should not bother trying to understand all the technicalities, unless they try to help, wich will be much appreciated. :D

    1 vs 2 -> 2 wins - goes 1 place up becomes #1
    1 loses - goes 3 paces down becomes #4
    3 vs 4 -> 3 wins - goes 1 place up becomes #2
    4 loses - goes 3 places down becomes #7
    5 vs 6 -> 6 wins - goes 1 place up becomes #5
    5 loses - goes 3 place down 8
    7 vs 8 -> 8 wins - goes up 1 place #7 (already occupied)

    #1 wont exist because he is the so called Challenger you matched with the Champion, unless you slide all 1 rank up for the only purpose to not let it vacant. Also what you do with the guys that are outside to top10 and want to join. You bring them in without having a fight to earn a pace there just by lower ranks dropping out ?

    The only problem I see with that, aside from getting the unranked into the mix is that is seems like it takes a very long time to advance up the rankings, especially moving up 1 spot at a time. It also seems like there could end up being a chance at the rankings stagnating with the same 4 fighters jockeying for the same 4 spots if they alternate wins and losses. Things like that will kill a league quick.
    For instance, you start ranked #10, you need to fight and win 9 times in a row just to get into position to fight for the title. Not only will that take forever, but it will take FOREVER.

    Just a few observations.

    The ranks above are not final, we still got to score the fights on the 19th.
    Most guys are only split appart by first and second tie-breakers, so expect depending
    on the qualitys of your picks great shifts in rankings.
