Very good 2 games for me, although Fabbri was injured and is out for the rest of the year even if the Blues make the playoffs. Agostino and Barbashev (young AHL callups) as well as Magnus Paajarvi have been like a boost of adrenaline the team desperately needed, and have each produced. The coaching change was done wonders, it looks like the team has had a weight lifted from their shoulders, (and Ken Hitchcock is one fatass weight) and the goalies are playing like NHL level goalies again. B2B shutouts against 2 Eastern conference playoff position teams, 2-0 against Philly who the Blues haven't beat in Philly since like 04' and 6-0 against Ottawa another team the Blues always have trouble beating. They look and play like a completely different team under Yeo...!!!

Mike Yeo is a fricking hockey genius...!!! The way he sets up plays, the way he practices, the way he gets his team to rally is reminisces of Fred Shero during the Flyers glory years...!!!

I remember Ngumbu really hanging tough with Fonfara. Fonfara, as per usual, was hit was too often and rattled a few times. That was a good fight.

I just remember Ngumbu looking kind of wild, jumped in from the outside. Not a very technical guy, though that's just my recollection.

Yeo according to Minny fans was a dredful coach, but he did take the Wild to the second round 2 or 3 years in a row. It's too early to pass judgement yet, but like Darryl Sutter he didn't a start being successful and winning cups until his second coaching job. He wasn't a great coach with Calgary.

Also, why no love for Zhanat? I think he might be Hatton backed, that itself is indicative that he's solid enough.

From what I remember from him he's very crude, but has nuclear power. Especially so in his right hand.

If boxrec is right, he's going to be a good bit bigger than Raushee... Also, how is Raushee going to keep Zhanat off of him, dissuade him from marching forward throwing that huge overhand right he has?

He also has a win where he sparked out Karim Guerfi with one shot, and Karim is actually quite a good fighter.

Sutter did lead the Flames to the SCF against the Lightning in 03-04, but that was about it...!!! He did good in Chicago in the regular season and sucked in the playoffs, in San Jose he was just awful (but its the Sharks so F them) and of course Sutter has 2 Cups with the KINGS...!!!

Minnesota never listened to Yeo, he wanted to trade for Jeff Carter, they said Carter was too old, he was responsible for the Dubnyk trade and everyone hated him, Dubnyk is a great goalie...!!!

I completely blocked out him ever coaching in Chicago, and don't recollect at all his San Jose stint, (agree **** the Sharks almost as much as the Hawks) Calgary and LA are all that come to mind for me when thinking of Sutter.

He coached the Blackhawks, then the Flames, then the Sharks and then Los Angeles...he was in Chicago right after Mike Keenan left for the Rangers, then took a break to deal with his son (Chris) who has Down Syndrome...!!! San Jose, he was the coach when Dean Lombardi was the GM (ironically Lombardi is the Kings' GM now)...!!! Sutter was the one who got Lombardi to trade for Vincent Damphousse, Adam Graves, and Mike Vernon to the Sharks. Those 3 lead the playoff elimination of the Blues (President Trophy winners)...!!! Sutter also scouted Brent Burns, Joe Pavelski and Steven Stamkos...ironically the Sharks front office said all 3 were AHL caliber at best, 2 of them now play for the Sharks (Burns & Pavelski)...!!!
