I'm probably in the minority here, but aside from Blade Runner, Black Rain and Alien, I can't stand Ridley Scott movies. So I've purposely avoided it, although I feel guilty about it.
I've never seen Blade Runner or Black Rain. I'm pretty sure Black Hawk Down was a Ridley Scott movie and I really liked it, Alien was good too.
G.I. Jane was good too I'm not ashamed to admit, although I was one of the few people I know who thought Gladiator sucked. I never did see his interpretation of Robin Hood, but it's Russell Crowe so I'm sure it sucked (I did like Crowe in LA Confidential though.)
Belated congrats to Unleash The Fury for winning the 2016 League. Kudos to you and Pinoy for an epic, and to bladerunner for overtaking me for 3rd place in the standings. Awesome job, guys. Sorry I didn't post anything earlier. Been a little preoccupied with work as of late and haven't posted a whole hell of a lot as a result.
Seek out Blade Runner as quickly as possible, although be warned, its an acquired taste, a little on the arty side, this will give you the flavor of it. This content is protected Its been about 15 years since I've seen Black Rain, so I'm not sure if it'll hold up, but I liked it the first two times I saw it, its about Michael Douglas taking on the Yakuza. G.I. Jane and Black Hawk Down were decent, there's a few middling Scott films I like okay, both of them, as well as Legend and 1492 are decent, the rest, eh. I can't stand Gladiator either, it wasn't enough like my avatar for me.
Didnt Ridley Scott make American Gangster, you didn't like that? I thought that movie was one of the best of the year.
I thought it was crap, and overrated, I prefer New Jack City and the Blaxploitation movies from the 70's that it kind of ripped off.

If nobody else has challenged him.... Ill go ahead and challenge Pablinov on the Davis fight. Hes picking Pedraza.... I feel that's definitely the 'smart' pick.... hard to go against the experience, the proven commodity, and I have some major, major question about Davis... but.... I'm going to put down Davis by SD in a controversial decision. Davis SD If I lose this I will be pissed lol... will kick me out the tournament and Ill take an L on my PC record. I would feel much better about my pick if Davis had half of Mayweathers determination, focus, and IQ. Reminds me way too much of Zab Judah or Broner outside the ring though, and that seeming (just going off the little Ive read and seen, hope I'm wrong) could make all the difference. I also don't like the apparent size difference. Combine those two things, going against a focuse, experienced foe like Pedraza.... and well, I'm not very confident lol.
Decided to watch a little more tape and.... I could actually see Pedraza tko Davis. Nothing at all will surprise me this fight. I do feel I'm making the stupid pick though lol.
