Yeah, same here actually, I should have clarified, the having an intellectual advantage and brow beating people into submission part came later, it was my revenge so to speak, after being told for years I was being blasphemous or how ****ed up some of the stuff I was saying was. That and everything eventually turns into a Devil's Advocate like competition/argument from me, especially with people I don't like and want to mentally beatdown, that's not one of my better attributes.

Poor Roland Emmerich tried his hand at drama with Stonewall, which was probably one of the better gay films I've seen, and he was viciously attacked by the LGBT community because the lead actor was white. Those PC mother****ers.

I can't fully bring myself to hate Michael Bay as a director, because I know there's a real talent in there when he's being himself, if its a Transformers/Armageddon/Pearl Harbor type blockbuster, its ****... but when he does something he feels passionate about, he can churn out quality work, I love The Rock, its probably one of my favorite summer flicks as a teen, and The Island, Bad Boys 2 and Pain & Gain were all solid as well.

Anderson is trash, I've hated him since he ****ed up the Mortal Kombat movie, I went to see that **** in the theaters, and was bitterly disappointed, and I went in not expecting much.

Same here, I don't believe in one that is personal, answering prayer and set out laws for us to follow and dole out punishment.
It looks more like creation of men.

Look at his film list of the bunch RE made the most good movies. But mostly by accident.

Universal Soldier(1992) Who can **** up an early 90s movie with a cheesy Sci-fi plot that stars Van Damme and Lundgren? Those two carried the movie.

The Patriot was also carried by a good cast.

So I guess he's on par with Michael Bay... He's actually made some solid and competent movies early on in his directing career. Definitely not nearly enough to redeem the **** he's put out though.

Anyways. Yeah Anderson is definitely the worst after brushing up a bit on the track record of these three

Universal Soldier is overrated dog ****. Saw that one for the first time like a year ago after hearing uniminable hype over the years. I've seen a dozen obscure Hong Kong shoot em' ups made around the exact same time that take a warm dump on Universal Soldier.

Who's idea was it to put two literal barely functional actors as the main two guys who were supposed to carry the entire movie? Spreading your movie a bit thin before you even start it.

It's no masterpiece it's just dumb fun - solid action movie. Funny enough Van Damme's dramatic acting abilities these days completely **** on just about any action hero - Western or otherwise.
