Fatty can go, though! Even in some of his 8 rounders he's shown me more diversity than lumbering cement footed Martin has... Power is great at heavyweight but you need a chin and some other intangibles to go along with it or you're doomed I don't know, I'm sticking to my guns here.

You mean Porter? Danny Garcia is a small favorite.

One judge has it 10-2 rounds and another 8-3-1 and it's a close un. decision because one has it 7-5?!?! A bit harsh imo.

The opposite thought is if two judges has it close and one has it wide it's a wide decision?!

I was referring to the posters here on Kirk's, I was expecting Porter to be the underdog, but the majority are going with him. I was hoping to get a daredevil pick here. Not because I'm just trying for it, I genuinely think Porter is a nightmare for Danny and will win.

I'm on Garcia but the closer the fight gets, the more I'm thinking we are in for a close decision either way or draw. Garcia will probably land the harder, cleaner shots while Porter will land more shots and throw way more punches. We'll be going into the tenth round wondering who is actually ahead in the fight.

Or Garcia lands a left hook as Porter bull-rushes inside that sends Porter to the shadow realm.

That is a distinct possibility, but I think Porter's rhythm will be too awkward for Danny time time consistently enough to land a KO punch, a few will definitely get through, but I think Porter's chin is good enough to hold up, his short stature will keep him in the perfect range to land overhands all night, add in Porter's constant doubling and tripling up if the jab, that'll demoralize Danny, and he'll get apprehensive and keep his hands at home, and be tentative like he was against Herrera.

You might be right, especially about Porter's rhythm and durability. But I think Herrera is way slicker than Porter. Maybe I'm not giving Porter enough credit but he isn't exactly hard to find in the ring. He doesn't seem to come inside at angles and use upper body movement like Lomachenko. Thurman nailed him a few times and momentarily stopped Porter in his tracks. Although it didn't really dissuaded Shawn much. Porter will keep coming at you but I don't feel he has good power because he is sloppy with his punches. He'll overwhelm you more with volume than anything else. We are probably looking at a distance fight.

I hope we get a good fight and there isn't a bunch of holding by Garcia (following the Brook blueprint).

Surprised there are barely any Palicte backers. This is a genuine 50/50 fight but I guess the greatness of Nietes prevails in the league.
