They are there, just not in public view. The fights are happening tonight and will count.

Top 10 Horror Films from 1977
    1. Suspiria - love it, atmospheric, great set design, cinematography, direction. I don't remember being particularly in love with the acting or script though. It impressed for being so far beyond the typical horror film level and verging into art picture territory, kind of like one or two Rob Corman pictures (The Masque of the Red Death).

Top 10 Horror Films from 1976
    1. Eaten Alive
    2. Who Could Kill A Child?
    3. The Omen - this film was special, like Rosemary's Baby or the Exorcist special. I think the whole tension of the film was about how unsure we are about whether the baby really is the anti-christ. Gregory Peck doesn't know and neither do we. There are signs, but nothing definitive. Even at the end, if I recall correctly, Peck doesn't have time to shave the boy's head and look for the mark. Peck is a great actor and it's pretty rare for horror films to have actors of such stature. Some of the deaths are these very natural looking type things, which could have a natural explanation. While the final slow motion bullet scene is iconic, there were so many other good parts that stick in my memory.

Top 10 Horror Films from 1975
    1. Jaws - yes
    2. Deep Red - need to see more Argento
    3. Lips Of Blood
    4. The Stepford Wives - this didn't scare me. technically, it's the same story as invasion of the body snatchers (people getting replaced by robots that look like them.) I took a cinema class that focused on horror, and they said that IOTBS was a sublimation for the public's fear of communism. Loss of individuality, a person you know may be one and you wouldn't know it, etc. Also, I'd say this is tinged with some of the same feminism that fueled Attack of the 50 Foot Woman. My teacher, or the book, thought that effective horror films were metaphors for societal fears. Godzilla= atom bomb, vampires= AIDS, Frankenstein= nazi ubermensch, etc. The ones that resonate the most can often be linked to something going on in the culture. I forget what the significance of all the recent zombie movies was supposed to be about.
    5. Race With The Devil
    6. The Killer Must Kill Again
    7. The Rocky Horror Picture Show - there was a type of script that the audience could follow to mock the movie at some point which made this more interactive and fun. I don't think I ever watched it straight.
    8. Night Of The Seagulls
    9. Picnic At Hanging Rock - I remember being bored with this.
    10. Autopsy

Top 10 Horror Films from 1974
    1. Texas Chainsaw Massacre
    2. Lorna The Exorcist
    3. The Legend Of The Seven Golden Vampires - kung fu and horror must be a difficult mix
    4. Black Christmas
    5. Andy Warhol's Dracula
    6. Let Sleeping Corpses Lie
    7. Ghost Ships Of The Blind Dead
    8. Vampyres
    9. The Demoniacs
    10. The Antichrist

Top 10 Horror Films from 1973
    1. The Exorcist - classic
    2. The Wicker Man - overrated, although I did like Nick Cage's acting in the sequel when they put the bee helmet on him.

Does it matter if it's specified? I mean most of us get our picks in the days before the fight. Any Perez pick in the league will count for the one tonight I'm assuming?

Only reason I did that is because we have a Mike Perez fight this weekend as well, and most guys pick fights several days in advance. For example @David B posted this on Monday:
I have logged that as a pick for Mike Perez, because Perez and Coyle both fight on Saturday and the Rey Perez fight wasn't visible publicly on BoxRec until today. Maybe he meant Rey? As of now I am counting that as Mike. Very rarely does a situation like that come up where I am unsure about who someone is picking but that is one of them.

@Jake LaMotta ...I'm missing a pick from you on tonight's Gonzalez - Perez fight

    @Drinquor

Is there a challenge ON for my Split Draw Sakai/Gomez pick?

As i would like to change the pick but only if there is no challenge obviously.

I only know there is a challenge for my Tennyson pick.

Chuck's challenge of your Tennyson pick was first, so you are free to change your Draw pick.

No problem. Your picks were in the order of the schedule. Easy to separate the two!
