Shintoism is directly tied in with the Samurai and Bushido the warrior code.:deal You know loyalty, gratitude, courage, justice, truthfulness, politeness, reserve, and honor. Ties in with Boxing pretty well If you ask me.

    Probably Islam. It's intriguing.

The praying, Ramadan, the connection Muslim individuals share, how personal it is to each Muslim.

I've had somewhat little experiences with some of the other religions, Islam has an intensity and severity that's appealing to me.

Islam has been really closed off to "outsiders"/to me, and that sort of thing draws me in. Boxing was/is a somewhat similar experience.

Not a lot of fights this weekend, damn. Only 1!

    Ugh.

Would have loved to see Moparfan's mandible getting shattered again and again :nod.

Please don't go down that road. I don't want to see you turn into a fanatic and that religion has a tendency to do that to new converts.

For me I like Taoisim, they revere water as It represents the need to be fluid, as in boxing adjustments are made in a split second, also it teaches not to oppose but to adapt.

I won't, I'm not really interested in religion unless it's interesting to someone else and they like to talk about it.. that's the only way I'd pay it any attention at this point.

Yeah my interest isn't so much with religion, but the personality type from the choice. Don't know any Muslims so can't make a judgment from that.

I've studied quite a few religions in depth while I was in my early twenties I almost became a full fledged theologian. Not that religious myself but I'm fascinated by faith in general, I was born Catholic and consider myself one in spite of the fact that I'm fairly agnostic, because to me being a Catholic is a way of life as much as it is a religion.

Yeah was raised Roman Catholic, was never a fan Mass was boring as fck, priest talks in droning voice like he's not even interested, so rebelled big time did all the bad things haha, ironically it was boxing that ironed me out gave me discipline and a scence of belonging.

I rebelled hard as in listening to Satanic Death Metal hard, but I've lightened up and respect it now more than when I was younger, and call me crazy I love all the pomp and pageantry of the Catholic Church and I love the new Pope.

It turns into a lounge sometimes, way to pass time before weekend fights.
